thank you so much!

thank you!

The most popular spot for a reason, great job

While the idea is unique from other games in the jam, I thought the controls were a little wonky. Good job!

Definitely one of the better games I've seen from the jam!

This game really makes you feel like a die - IGN

incredible game, best of jam

game looks super good, but the fights feel as if they take forever since you have to reroll constantly each turn.

Great art and idea! I personally think that the angle of the levels makes it a little harder to conceptualize where the arrow keys will place you at times.

Incredible presentation, and the creativity of the idea is there, but I think the level design suffers from the randomness, as some others have suggested. Slippery and bouncing floors give the opportunity for interesting level ideas, but that is often lost in the randomness.

Good game, I like the ideas. I wish the order of events was a bit clearer, or there were better instructions on when player 1 should go, when player 2 should roll, or try to move, etc.

Thank you, and sure I will!

This is pretty fun, but is held back by the visuals in my opinion. Aiming for clarity above anything I think will help out a ton

It's totally cool and unique, but I wish the connection to rolling dice was a little more obvious other than the connection to randomness

While I'm a fan, the angle of the ground was a little hard to wrap my head around, I think shifting it to a more straight angle, while it may not look as cool, would make t play a bit better. (though you also want to avoid hiding sides of the die). Maybe allowing for camera control?

This art style is incredibly cool, but I felt like the power-ups didn't feel like they influenced the game to a huge extent.

Super simple idea done really well

Really great game, never knew how important telling people to click on the game window was

Thanks! Part of what I wanted was for them to be in the dark (or in 1 light) so you would have to memorize where they were from previous attempts

thank you!

Thank you!! That might just be your luck of the draw, after the first level I rely on Unity's random function.

Yeah, the main idea involving the dice and lights lent itself pretty quickly to the loop of playing a level a certain number of times until it was memorized via certain cues, but that required a lot of trial and error on the player's part. There's a lot of points you just have to stumble into the darkness, seeing if you die or not. Perhaps there are some ways to make it a little less luck based, like showing the level with every light on right at the start for a few seconds.

Thanks! That was one of my larger goals

damn im good at this one

Suuuper good

interesting idea, I would make it so most challenges can be solved in some way via any ability, that way you aren't stuck searching for a specific one

I second the comment below, I thought maybe I could collect the coin when it showed the euro symbol

Thank you! I tried to make each level possible with only 1 light on. Figured the game is a little less reliant on luck that way.

Thank you!

Thank you!

Yeah, we realized we made the level definitely a little hard - checkpoints would’ve been a big improvement. Thank you for the note on the movement, it’s a little different depending on if you hold jump or not, but I agree with you that it’s a bit fast. Thanks!

Nice game! Really fun and original for the jam

I love your level design, it's very simple and I learned very quickly how things operate and how I/the player are supposed to interact. The text is a little small though and could be larger

The music in this is probably some of my favorite of the jam, nice work!

I like this concept! I also loved the music - I see it wasn't made in the 48 hours, but did you write it?

Thank you! We were debating adding that - but knew the level was pretty hard and didn’t want to discourage players too much. Adding this, plus making the spikes do less damage would’ve probably been a better combination.

Thank you! - and will do

Thank you!

Fantastic, loved the idea

This is a fun game and well executed, but there is a lot of waiting around - maybe you could put a way to make the laser move faster?
