I am delighted with the idea because it is very original. Beautiful graphics. I love it!
thank you so much!
Very good game and very original !
thank you!
Really nice atmosphere ^^
Pretty nice ame I owuld say! I would like ome more polihing! ALSO could you check out my game too if you dont mind?
Thank you, and sure I will!
Really cool game, i like how the dice determines the difficulty of the stage, but you can also memorize where you died last time.
thank you!
Really good art! Some of the spikes were in the dark a lot, maybe add some more natural light? Or make lower rolls generate light bulbs with more intensity.
Thanks! Part of what I wanted was for them to be in the dark (or in 1 light) so you would have to memorize where they were from previous attempts
I loved it!!! I think the dice tends a little bit to lower number but it is soo interesting and cool looking!!!
Thank you!! That might just be your luck of the draw, after the first level I rely on Unity's random function.
Felt a little arbitrary. Some of the levels kind of just felt like trial and error or luck to know how to get through. I like the style a lot, and the sound was great as well, but the gameplay felt like it wasn't gaining much from the dice aspect. Good job anyway though, this has a lot more polish than most other games I've seen.
Yeah, the main idea involving the dice and lights lent itself pretty quickly to the loop of playing a level a certain number of times until it was memorized via certain cues, but that required a lot of trial and error on the player's part. There's a lot of points you just have to stumble into the darkness, seeing if you die or not. Perhaps there are some ways to make it a little less luck based, like showing the level with every light on right at the start for a few seconds.
Super unique concept and I love the aesthetics. Very satisfying sounds too. There's more skill than luck for this game as compared to others which I appreciate.
Thanks! That was one of my larger goals
One of the best game jam games I've ever played
its fun to play, but the light looks weird, idk how to describe it but either way good game
Great game! I love how even if you might not be able to see much due to a bad roll, you can still complete the level due to knowledge from past runs + flickering lights that hint at where some traps could be.
Thank you! I tried to make each level possible with only 1 light on. Figured the game is a little less reliant on luck that way.
