"Aha!" moments starting from the very beginning! I really love the game and it is truly unique which is obviously is good!

Nice job!

A cool idea, there are a bunch of different similar games this jam, but this one is unique in the narrative and overall goal. However it's hard to determine what word (or part of word) will be rolled into, other than by trial and error. An undo button would work wonders here, since it's very easy to get stuck (with dice up against a wall or NPC).

The art style with its colors is definitely a selling point for your game, nicely done.

Definitely a very in-depth puzzle game. Had to take a few moments to figure it out but using the dice to spell words out was a brilliant idea. I love the art and characters, gives it a very chill atmosphere. The strongest aspect has to be the overall design of the puzzles. They got pretty complicated but the forgiving nature of the game helps you take your time to work it out.

This game is really stylish and unique! I really enjoyed the lateral thinking of figuring out the word from the hints and word parts, but I found it way too hard to figure out how to put the words together without an undo button or a way to see all the sides of the die. Overall though, really cool game, and I'd love to see what you do with it post-jam.

"Aha!" moments from the second level. This is the best puzzle game I've tried so far, most of them are either too easy or hard, but this feels just right! My only criticism is that the camera being snapped alongside the player made me a bit dizzying when moving around quickly.

Ended up getting stuck in the 3rd level because I was pushing all of the boxes into corners, so I'll definitely try more of this tomorrow when I'm not sleep deprived, and thus able to make my rating more accurate to someone playing under normal conditions.

This is a cool idea, and the execution is also good I think. Cohesive art-style and mood is always a plus for me.

I like that from level 3 onwards they’re all describing the word in a different roundabout way as well. Gives it a sort of cryptic crossword feel.

What I’m really missing is an undo function though … even a single undo would help. I often rely on undo chain in turn-based puzzles.

‘Spoiler’: Well, I may or may not be likeable, but I got an appointment at work now. (Guess who spent some amount of time making the word likable instead of the correct solution :-P …)

the likeable thing was definitely an oversight but turned out to be kind of funny how i am basically calling all my players unlikeable xD but yeah i think if i ever make a game like this again (or update this) imma put undo button as an extremely high priority feature as even when i play it myself i find myself wanting one, thanks for the feedback tho loved your game!

love the art style and cool concept. I'm a big dummy so could figure it out properly

I've got no idea how one is supposed to figure out what word you must pursue.

If the issue was only about spatial thinking, I'd have no trouble. But also trying to guess what the result should be doesn't seem very friendly imo.

That said, I loved the style of the game, and cannot possibly rate it badly. Despite that mentioned grievance, I still liked the core concept and the presentation.

my idea for the puzzle is that the npcs on each map say something that will help narrow to which word u need to pick out of the words u can make

heya
i thought i left a comment but can't find it
i hope you're not disappointed that you didn't get a new rating, i had already rated this before!
anyway my review of the game
art is quite nice!
the music is ok, not horrible though
it's nice that you added hints, the game does need it lol (i got stuck)
imo one thing that you should've done differently is the movement
that's just my personal view though, idk if it bothers other people too, but the movement happens instantly, there's nothing wrong with that per se, but the way it's portrayed is that when you move left, everything is instantly teleported to the right, and that caused for a jarring effect when i moved fast. kinda like playing a game at 7 fps, but more disorienting.
the difficulty is obviously not easy to get right when you're making the whole game within two days, but yea i wish there was a more gradual introduction to the mechanics (with difficult levels only being introduced later).
as for the theme, this game had a similar concept to other submission regarding moving dice around to be in some specific orientation&location, but i found your take on it quite unique. other games mostly had a goal that the die was supposed to end up at with the right number facing upward. in this game the dice are eachother's goals
great job!

Damn it's hard, I don't have brain for this. Puzzle design is not most polished which is understandable due to time constraints. It works mechanically well however, I like style which reminds me of Boulder Dash. Actually introducing some Boulder Dash elements could work, like tiles you should eat before you can roll dice on them.

yeah looking back i think i needed to limit player choice here lol, the first real level for example has 2 ways to spell the word lol. i didnt have time to test the 2nd level properly (EDIT: There are also at LEAST 2 solutions for the 2nd one) but there is way too much space when i could have just cut the level in half and it would have still worked fine

Very cool idea, it was a bit too difficult for me though (especially as I can't visualize shapes very well).
