It's pretty well designed and the art is excellent. The connection to the theme is kinda slim but overall great game.

The game is super well-presented, the controls and feedback are really juicy and snappy and it feels REALLY good to play this game. The color scheme and just overall design are amazing and it's a really funny approach to the theme. I wish there would have been an item you could heal yourself with occasionally bc i was killed about everytime i got dish 3-4, but otherwise this game works really well! Great job!
Nice take, but the game spams so much that the entire table is flooded with dice food. Also, the dice don't despawn.
Really nice take on the theme, it's nice not seeing another game about RNG or actual d6 dice! And the mechanics that used that theme were fun as well, I liked the balance between dicing up enemies and running away from them to throw something into the pot. The different recipes kept things interesting as well, and I appreciate that only the ingredients needed showed up when there was a new recipe too, that was a great little quality of life feature. The artstyle, music and general aesthetics were brilliant and I particularly loved how the painterly background and hard-outlined foreground worked together - the two styles both looked good with one another and it was easy to read at a glance as well, so well done on making that work! All the little visual effects added to that as well - the stains on the table after defeating an enemy, the particle effects, the explosions - it made for a very well crafted visual experience. And the music and sound design also added to the feel of the game in just the right way! This is a really well made game, great work on making it!
Fun game, realy high level of polish, I feel like there is not enough time to get all the diced corpses to the pot but diceing those beautyful creatures feels amazing, great job!
Love the art and sound design. May want to despawn some ingredients on the ground, I had a lot of eggs.
The game is really enjoyable , and I absolutely love the pixel art. and the effects, and it's a really clever and unique concept within the scope of the theme. Great work!
Played this one on the first day but forgot to rate, oops! The game is easy to understand. I like how the goal is only encouraged, but not forced. The ingredient sprites are really easy to identify with the color, even though it's the same shape, (them being the same shape really makes it satisfying too).
This one is really fun, but the balancing doesn't feel right to me. I always kinda get overwhelmed, and the combat doesn't really feel good. Don't get me wrong, this was a great submission overall, I was just pointing out nitpicks that I didn't really enjoy much.
super fun and creative concept! congrats!! =]
Really fun little game, good art style and a funny interpretation of the theme.
If you continue to develop it I'd suggest small tweaks to the gameplay like adding a tiny bit of knockback to enemies when you hit them, otherwise it's easy to get overcrowded. Also maybe add a high-score board?
The only bug I found was that the high-score doesn't reset after game-over. Or it does, but as soon as you score points it reverts back to the old high score.
Great Job!
This is awsome. Only anyoing thing is that after a while your screen is so full you cant choose what to pick up
Great game! The art is phenomenal for a 48 hour jam, and the gamplayloop is very fun.
I feel like it would be cool to restrict the player ability to attack, while you are carrying cubes. It would feel natural and add some gameplay depth.
Very clever use of the theme and really great game in every aspect
I like the spin on the dice!
Wonderful art! Really cheerful music and concept!
As many said, I too would have preferred some clutter removal system, but in any case, big thumbs up from me!!! :D
so glad I saw this on twitter. thanks for the fun game. At first I didn't realize you still get points even if it's not for the recipe, which I really enjoyed that aspect b/c you always feel like what you're doing is giving you points.
The only struggle is when you clear a recipe and have a lot of ingredients on the level. Maybe clearing them when you complete a recipe would help with that issue, but either way it's really fun and I love seeing veggies in games since I'm making a game with veggies
thank you and I'm glad you enjoyed! if we had more time we would definitely remove some of the clutter issues, i agree!
Art and game feel are amazing! There could be something to spice up (lol) gameplay a bit, powerups, bonus rounds, something like this. And I think diced ingredients should disappear after a while of not being used, my screen got very cluttered very fast. Very nice game over all, congratz!
