This game has the most fun I have played so far in the jam, really! I really love the creativity behind the design, although, it does get "hectic" when you get unlucky rolls over and over in a single round. Nonetheless, I assure you, to anyone wanting to play this game, that this definitely has one of the most polished ones out there! It would be a delight to have this played as a finished product once the jam is over, really; would recommend it to my friends~

I appreciate the creativity of this design but honestly it wasn't really fun to play due to not being allowed to attack most of the time and the enemies constantly healing while I'm trying to get lucky enough for an attack roll. Randomizing your moves can be an interesting gameplay mechanic, but only if there is some kind of meaningful choice the player can still make. Otherwise, it just feels like I'm not really playing and the game just plays itself. That being said, I can see that you put effort into the game so I gotta give you credit there.
I like the combat, but it gets stale pretty quick with your limited options
This game would be 100x more fun if you got rid of the healing enemy. I had multiple 40 turn stalemates with just a healer and no prospect of winning or losing. Nice graphics, good concept, fit well with theme, could be very fun with a simple change, but the 40 turn stalemates that are completely out of your control really put a damper on it.
Aesthetic, both visually and sonically, are stellar- the core premise is very inventive and I really like! Sadly, portions of the game were poorly tuned- I got into several frustrating 10-minute combat encounters between me and healers, where ever few turns all of my progress in the battle would be erased. A mark on an otherwise very polished game.
Very polished and really elegant way of using the buttons, congratulations
This game was super fun and added a lot of skill to a theme that is normally luck based! I liked the amount of customization it gave to the player allowing it to be tailored to the players play-style and therefore less infuriating when luck wasn't quite on your side. The art/music design was also phenomenal. With a wider arrange of enemies I could see this being as addicting as slay the spire!
Wow! So much depth in 2 buttons! I was really impressed a game made the shield actually useful!
Once you get the Havel Shield you're set.
Amazing. Played 3 times and beat it. 11/10
Good job! the concept is ooriginal and it was really fun!
So much polish, this feels amazing to play. A really neat system for the combat and good variety of encounters. The healer enemy is scary when you keep low rolling ahah. The art style is top notch, so is the music. One of the best i've played so far.
I've seen the dice face swap roguelike a few times. It is a fun concept. You did a great job with it here, as you keep the tutorials to a minimum and immediately have the player experiment with the system.
No issues with this mechanic. It fits the theme and is very fun. I urge you to check out Roll for Royalty, which used an almost identical system (but struggled with presentation). It used some cool effects that could be implemented in your face swap, like burn, and extra coins.
The rolling for movement system is cool, but I feel it takes away from the general strategy. Just the face swap mechanic by itself would be fine.
Music, sounds, and art all are great.
I did encounter a bug where if you quickly mash space after rolling the number de, you will jump again and reroll both dice. It will then lock the game. (Seems everyone has reported this already. Sorry)
Oh man this is amazing!! This is definitely one of the best games I've played this jam and a concept I could see being expanded into a full game.
Everything about this was great, from the intro music and title screen to the mechanics. I loved the idea of everything and what was able to be put together in 48 hours is truly fantastic. My only minor nitpick it when I was at the shop with the genie, I didn't know if those were one time things or an addition to my dice actions. Clarification there might have been nice..... but maybe that is rather souls-like for us not to know right away!
Anyway great job on this!! I'd say this deserves to be one of Mark's picks to win the jam!
The art style is really good! The game's really hard, so I didn't get very far, but it's fun. I'll maybe try it again later to see if I can get farther.
This is awesome. Could use some UX clarity on the controls, but I would play a full game of this if it was sped up just a bit. Great stuff!
The art is really good and the gameplay is fun. I did get softlocked by clicking x while the red dice was rolling and it was trying to attack while the dice landed on defend, which I think caused the issue.
