How does your game fit the theme?
In the game you have to interrogate suspects, but every time you ask a question a dice gets rolled. The amount that gets rolled represents how much more suspicious they are of you. If they are too suspicious then you have to stop asking questions. By the end you have to use the information from the questions to figure out which suspect did the crime.

Great entry, I enjoyed this one.

The setting is well thought out, especially love how randomness is a part of the world.

Biggest problem is the core dice and suspicion system. Going for the most sus sounding questions resulted me in useful information, without the suspects getting too wary of me, which isn't what you'd think would work normally.

Still, amazing job on your submission!

This is the first detective game I find this jam and I'm not disappointed. The graphics and choice of music are extremely fitting, the dialogue is engaging and the characters charming.

Only nitpick is that I really wasn't used to the concept of the die. These games are mostly about asking questions that don't sound suspicious or too direct to not get caught. The die threw all that out of the window and forced me to go for the most direct questions, even though it felt unnatural. There is potential, but I think this should be implemented differently. I was thinking of having questions that increase the sus-meter and questions that decrease it, so you'd keep the dice but also the "choose the right question" mechanic.

This is only my opinion though, for 48h this was a masterpiece. Great job!

I agree completely with the dice not being implemented in the best away. Having the questions themselves not really affect how much the sus-meter will increase sort of can ruin your game if you get unlucky with the rolls. For example, I've seem some people go for not-suspicious questions because they think it'll help them, and then at then at the end they have no information to decide who the criminal is so they end up guessing. If there is one thing I should take away from this jam, it's that I should think things out more before I start working. It was my first Game Jam though so I'm glad I actually finished something. Also, while working on the game I started referring to the meter in code as the sus-meter so it was easier to type out :)

You never know where a game will end up. Especially with restrictive time limits you have to go with the first idea that comes to mind, even if it's not fully fleshed out. I'm honestly impressed by the polish of your game, and this being your first jam makes it even more spectacular. You should be proud of your work!

This game is very well made! I really enjoyed this clever concept of interrogating suspects to find out who had stolen the dice. The characters in this game are very unique and you can really feel like a real detective most of the time. Overall a very nicely done game, magnificent work!

Really funny game. The narration works very well. Congrats :)

Visually very well done! Good with choice with music, the dice rolls were a little to random and unbalanced, but there are definitely avenues to take this game further with a little bit of a rebalance!

Visually very pleasing, good choice of sounds. The story while short, felt good while playing. What I regret is that my choices had little impact on the suspicion of the suspects.

I love the art and presentation here! a reduction on the wall of text on the beginning would make it a lot more accessible, but I love the dialogue!

Nice music and nice art. I really enjoy the ambiance of the game. One remark is maybe too much text sometimes and also the lack of more valuable indices maybe.

Developer

Yeah, I really should of shortened the wall of text at the beginning. If I revise this, I'll definitely change that. Modifiers to the amount of suspicion you get from dice depending on the question you ask would be a good addition too.

Much texts I think and feeling bad If I play beacuse only same^^ country memes and joke.

Fun game and the use of rolling the dice is brilliant!

I started the game without reading anything and I thought when I rolled the dice, fewer numbers I got, the less information is given. But I guess it didn't matter if I knew the real purpose of the dice because I finished the game successfully!

Developer(+1)

Yeah, if there's one thing I'd change it's the wall of text at the start. Thanks for playing though!

I JUST finished Disco Elysium and you hit me with this. I absolutely love the artstyle and the writing. Dialogues are great and enjoyable. Amazing for a jam game.

Wowwww really cool game! Love the art and sound, and I don't think I've seen any other interrogation game in this jam! Good job :)

Short and sweet! Pretty rare to see a fully complete game coming out of a Jam. I enjoyed it :

Great interrogation game and the use of dice is awesome. It make me felt like a detective. The epp and flow, the pace. It is just perfect. The concept is good that I think you might be detective yourself. I would certainly love to see more of this series. The selection of suspect is awesome and the theme is a match. Wonderful job! I would like to see even more!
