Best I've played in the jam so far, I really enjoy this game. One thing I will say is that there is a soft lock if two battlers have high defence but low attack, e.g. polar bears.

A fun game with great art

it was fun! pretty good concept! but it kinda get repetitive and you can get easily overpowered, great game though!

I really loved the art for the game and the game itself was pretty intuitive. Personally, I kind of wished that the dice animations were a little faster and that perhaps you could have a bit more influence over the battles as they were happening. I still had fun playing the game and kept finding myself retrying after I died to get a little farther! Also the d4 as the mouse was a nice touch.

A lot of fun! I do wish the combat was slightly faster since it's an auto battler though. Otherwise it's a great game!

Its a really great concept made with a beautiful art style but the gameplay can be a little slow at times.  I was fighting the polar bear and both of us had high defense but low attack and ended up missing over and over again.  I ended up just sitting watching it all happen for about ten minutes until I finally managed to kill it just to get one shot by the giant spider.
But besides that It was really fun to play.

One of my favs so far! Really amazing job! I think since the game is very replayable, it needs some less repetitive music. But besides that I think you've really made something great.

The game does bog down a bit when neither side can effectively harm each other, but otherwise it's a very enjoyable simple game. Rolling more and more dice is a joy.

The presentation is nice and the gameplay loop is simple but fun. Although even for an auto battler I would prefer to have a little bit more agency over what happens. I mostly felt that I was just watching and that I couldn't do anything about my deaths. Still well done for a jam game.

An interesting take on the theme. I love how the dice protagonist wears a Japanese sailor uniform. A game worth my time! Great job <3333

lots of new dice building ideas in this jam

I particularly like this pixel art style and would love to see more animations

Nice game, good idea, and great graphics. Looks like a game someone would play in background in a movie. Simple premise, but addictive. Great entry!

This game has really wonderful presentation... Just the concept and presentation are really incredible for a jam game! Nice job!

A mobile version would be incredible. Enjoyed this very much. The design, art, gameplay all meshed together to make a really great jam game. Would love to see more of this.

Cool idea! I also like visuals and music!

For a minute I was little bit confused how the game works and where to click. Suddenly I am playing it for over an hour and still having fun while trying different strategies. The graphics look nice and good choice of music.

Great job and thank you for the experience :)

The game concept is good, but sometimes I wished I could speed things up because waiting for like 10 minutes takes away from the fun. When you want a player to click to choose a bag, I recommend you allow clicking on the whole object not only the button.

The graphics were beautiful, although I would personally prefer all the pixels to be the same size to create a more put-together look. Your choice of music was on point :).

The thing that frustrates me is when I wasn't interested in watching the fight and clicked on my second monitor, the game just crashed, so I didn't even get to kill the spider, and lost all my progress.

Really good submission nevertheless!

it's a decent idle game, but I'd kind of like something to do during battles besides just watching.

I got in a battle with a monster with low attack and really high defense. It couldn't touch me at all, but it took a really long time to beat because nearly every turn I didn't do any damage.

Is the enemy luck bag used for anything?

Very cool idea.

I think a good choice would be to lower the health of the enemies. I think that would pivot the game into more of an attrition challenge (a la darkest dungeon), instead of having all encounters be life-or-death. The main thing this would solve is the tediousness of waiting through combat.

As you mention yourself, the balance is off due to the large randomness. If you made the game with only d4's (and maybe d6's, rarely), the player would have a much better sense of their own power level, and the impact of adding a die, and it would also lower the randomness and hopefully fix the balance a little.

But again, really good idea!
