Nice idea. Reminds me of simplified and RNG-ified "Black and white". Very relaxing atmosphere. I would suggest toning down the influence of randomness a bit, as it sometimes just feels unfairly impossible, but great job otherwise.

I really like the concept! I had a similar problem with fire completely decimating everybody. The way I won was by grilling everyone and then basically waiting for the population to creep up by themselves.

But I think with the right tweaks this could grow into something really fun.

Funny idea!

Really really cool concept, I could see how this could become a bigger game with more complexity. Didn't see too many god games in the jam, so I think it's pretty unique in that way. The controls and movement might have need a little work, but that definitely didn't get in the way for me. Keeping the balance in the world with a chance of good or evil actions is a fascinating concept. Can't wait to see how this game evolves!

I would appreciate if your team would check out my submission and provide any feedback you have, I am trying to gauge interest to see if I should continue further development too!

I love the caos on your game, gj!

sometimes the textures lag and sometimes freeze, but the idea with the hands and balances of people is interesting and unique, I sincerely wish the authors good luck.

thanks for feedback.

The game lacks some balancing: the population can go up or down quite exponentially. Still an interesting idea that we do not see often, well done

Could use some balance tweaks - I could only really affect the population with a fire, but then it completely decimated it - but really cool concept!  Not a lot of 'god games' going around anymore, I feel like the last one I played was Black and White 2

so much chaos!!  nice artstyle!

This is a really cool game! I love the games where you play god and it looks like a strategy game. The way you used the dice was ultimately really intriguing! I had 171 people born and still lost. I didn't understand that. Maybe it was because I didn't play as the devil? I didn't know you could switch. Maybe there could be something easily noticeable that says press this to switch. Overall awesome game! Thank you for making it!

Ok, this was actually pretty good.

It was a bit challenging to get the right balance of population, so I had a laugh when on my first try the silly vermin just wouldn't stop multiplying no matter how much pain and suffering I caused, hahahaha.

Managed to win on my second try. Almost didn't make it, but small earthquake saved my bacon.

Hi, please play my game and rate accordingly.

The idea is really creative and a funny concept. I like the mechanic of throwing the dice using the mouse. Had a good laugh.

That's a really creative pun you made with the game jams theme! :) (However it seems that in your game, god does indeed play dice! :P)

The graphics all look really nice and hand crafted too!

My main two feedback points would be that the screen can sometimes look very overloaded with all the people running around, and that I always felt like I was lacking fine control over what was happening in the game. One burn from Satan could wipe out the whole population or it felt like the evil dice would do nothing at all to an overfull population - so it felt like there was no inbetween sometimes! (But I mean, I get it, its RNG afterall!)

Developer

thank you for the feedback.

the screen getting overloaded and the frantic nature of the game are more or less by design to make players be always on their toes otherwise it would get old super fast. glad you enjoyed the game.

That's sooo creative!! Loved the take on the jam theme! Got to win one match after 3 tries! I think  that's a reasonable gameplay difficulty :D

i like the concept. Divine Power!

I didn't quite understand how to roll the dice, but the human anthill looks funny!
Developer

Thanks for trying to play our game at least :D
To roll the dice you need to hover over the hand, press it, drag and then release. The speed of your dragging motion will determine the speed of the dice when its thrown.

thx! =)

Love the spin on the typical god simulator. Trying to find that balance between good and evil was difficult, and a little janky at times, but an interesting mechanic

Very creative idea. Even though it's basically an RNG simulator, I kept playing to see different outcomes. Trying to keep the balance is really fun. I also love the effects for storm, earthquake etc. Great work.

Cool concept, would be great if there was more control over over the game rather than it being purely random based on the dice, makes it more of a spam throw dice as either side.
