I love the game's opening sequence and gameplay was a bit confusing at first but I got the hang of it! Really looking forward to the final build.

Hi, thanks for checking out our game and leaving feedback! We’ve just updated the game with bug fixes (the stages got fixed and all of them are now playable), a little tutorial section, and some more content. The ending is now a special cutscene rather than just a static image.

But that’s not all and there are still a few things that we’re going to add later on ;)

Awesome presentation :)

Gameplay was a bit lacking, but 48 hours is a short time, and, looking at the comments, it does look like you’re on your way to making something pretty unique so :)

Really loved the idea. I called my friend just to check out the online mode. A full build is all I need now

Loved the art; so much character!

Wow! This is an amazing artstyle, setting and presentation! I want more of this!

As a fan of bullet hells, this is an amazing proof of concept. Even if there is not much material yet, you must have done an insane amount of work during the weekend. Please work on this further if you can, I want to see more from this!

Really nice presentation. Art and music are really top-notch.

I was able to play just by myself. I was confused at the start, was not really sure, what to do, what each of the things in the level does, but after a few tries, I think I got it and it was easier to just avoid them and not really try to use them with the mechanic.

I noticed in one comment below, you've prepared 6 waves but because of a bug, they didn't work, which is a real shame because right now it is really short. But I'll look forward to your new version of the game after the voting ends :)

Really good job! Kudos for making a multiplayer :)

Damn! It goes without saying that this game had exemplary presentation right out there! Very impressive and full of charm considering this was made in 48 hours, having to manage such a big team must be difficult so it is a feat that you guys pulled it off!

Some good things:

Naturally, the presentation is easily a 5 stars. Not much to say.

Good sound design that really elevates everything alongside the music. The art department in your team deserves a lot of credit for the amazing work!

Currently, my caveats:

I say currently because I've only played this on singleplayer for now. I will look and see if I can get someone else to play with me.

But from passive observation, the gameplay is somewhat lacking. The round seems to last too short (local multiplayer)? And without tutorial, being thrown in with at least 3 elements seems awfully jarring. It is kind of implied at the cutscene but I still remained confused whether to be the last player standing (because the cutscene mentioned a battle royale IIRC), or to survive together with my friend.

The fire thing doesn't seem to do anything even if I let it hit the rope.

All in all, I am currently biased in my rating as I wasn't playing the game as intended with multiplayer. So I will see to it that if I do get someone to play with, I'll be sure to revisit this feedback and my current rating.

Thanks for your detailed feedback!

Indeed, the gameplay is lacking a bit of length. We had originally 6 unique waves for everyone to play, but due to a late bug, these aren't playable in the current version. We'll try to have this fixed in later versions, along with new content for you to enjoy!
Thanks a lot!

Wow I have NO clue how you guys pulled this off in 48 hours, this is amazing! Super fun too. I loved the intro that you guys made. Stellar!

10/5 for presentation. It's probably going to be the best I'll see in this jam.

The gameplay could really do with some refinement. It took a couple tries to figure out what the rules were. And I was expecting some better 'game feel' given the great presentation leading up to actually playing the game.

Presentation is incredibly good, so props to the team on that one.

I liked that you not only had to protect yourselves but also your rope! It makes it very frenetic. I think there's lots of room to grow here and really get a solid game going. You've got the characters, art, and writing down!

The presentation is off the charts, reaaaaaaaally good. Thought, you guys should've gave more care for the gameplay

I love the art so much! It's really beautiful. And it's so impressive that you got a multiplayer game done for the jam! :D I wish the game was longer, but I had fun with what was there

This game, is kind of underwelming to be honest.

Not to be too harsh, but seeing as this is a big team, and so much of the presentation was 10/10. The gameplay was really lacking.

Where this game lacks on gameplay, it makes up for it in style and charm. The characters where cute and funny looking. The music and the sound desing was top notch as well.

Just wished the actual game lasted a bit more and was a bit more clear on what each thing did.

Overall, i would say its a 4/5. Perfect presentation, underwelming gameplay.

Would love to play a full v2 with the entire concept expanded upon, maybe some predetermined levels and an endless highscore based mode. Dunno.

Damn a Multiplayer in 48 hrs. Plus the style is just awesome with on point Art n Music Vibe

Now this entry is a true powerhouse. Crispy pixel art, good setting using the over-the-top TV show format, and HOLY SHEEP is that multiplayer? Someone clearly had a good grasp of how to manage time and not panic during the 48 hours, every member of this team can stand tall and proud on this submission :)

I love this games art style and presentation, 1 complaint is that it's too short, you should make it endless and highscore based. Overall great job!

The art and UI look sooooo good.

Submitted(+4)

Wow this is really well made, the art is amazing, a nice little backstory type thing and fun gameplay. You've really done well in this jam great work!

The retro style art and music make this game so good! I didn't play multiplayer, but it was still very fun to play. Very good game!

Ok so let's get the obvious stuff out:

This game is stunning, charming (really liked the dialogue box and the starting cutscene).
It is also a short game, which is fine for a jam. BUT it has so much potential that I presonally would like to see you progress it. So much potential. Audio is amazing.

It is also quite hard to lose in this current stage. I had to run and stand infront of the cannons for a good 20 seconds before I failed. But this can be easily changed when you increase the difficulty.

This is one of the games in the jam where I'm really amazed that it was made in 48 hours.

Very well done!~
