How does your game fit the theme?
Not only is the player character physically connected to a turret via rope, but the turret and the player share health. If the turret takes damage, the player takes damage and vice versa. The turret and player must also work together to avoid taking unnecessary damage by the turret hitting the player.

Really fun game! It was interesting to have to pay attention to the moving character as well as the aim of the turret to make sure I could keep firing without hitting myself. I really like the enemy variety and the choice of upgrades you can get, although I did feel like upgrading fire rate was by far the best choice. It would have been nice if I could get some health back, since it did seem like there was some degree of unavoidable damage.

Love the idea, love the art and music, and I love the progression that the cards at the end of waves provide. Its a really polished game, and honestly I dont think i have any negative thoughts for it.

I would love to see this as a co-op game. That would be rage inducing!

The art style is really polished in the style you chose, it looks good, I really liked the addition of night phases that really gave me a sense of progression. The music and SFX fits the graphics really well!

I felt like it was difficult to handle bot the shooting and the moving at the same time, maybe by making the player a bit more visible or bigger it would make it easier to follow both at the same time. Or perhaps making the stars hitbox a bit bigger would make it easier to pick them up while looking where to shoot. I don't know.

Otherwise, nice game, well done!

nice idea cool art.

Neat game, I really like how the turret's bullets can damage you. The difficulty ramps up pretty quicky, but that may just mean I need to get good. Nice work!

Really good game, I propose that you use the stars to upgrade your turret to encourage the player to grab them

I wish there was a little more joined actions between the person and the turret. While I liked the idea of my person needing to collect the start for points while the turret kept the enemies off them, that felt like most of the connection (aside from the obvious rope). It was fun and interesting to try and work out how best to plan, but in the end I misty just did my best to shoot all the enemies as fast as I could and when I had attention, move the person to grab a star (I'm not very good at this kind of shooter in general I find).

Cool little game, that an original way to make a turret tower defender type of game. Well Done!

I like your interpretation of the theme, it's a very fun idea! The idea of adding more bullets works both as a positive and a negative, since you've gotta dodge even more of them, which is neat!

Really well done!

Great game! I love the concept that I should evade my turret's bullets! I enjoyed it.

That's tough! Really fun mechanic though, needing to endanger yourself to score points faster makes it feel like it's really up to you to figure how quickly you can go. I love that there's progression/power ups too.

this a very fun game! great job! very fun mechanic, it kept me off the edge of my seat. i could only get 6 stars per every play lol, but i had so much fun

loved the game!!, simple and cute

That was very fun! I really like the cutesy art style and the game play loop of just getting stars to upgrade is nice, simple, and easy to understand!

This was a lot of fun. I think it's one of the best I've played in this year's jam so far. It's really tricky to keep track of both where you're aiming and where you're running to, which makes for an interesting challenge. The only thing I would suggest is to either add or better explain the incentive to collect the stars. Obviously they increase the score, but if the player's main goal is to survive as long as possible, there doesn't seem to be much reason to prioritize collecting them. If the rounds/upgrades are tied to the stars, then I could see that working, and it might even be the case, but if so it isn't well explained in-game.

This was tons of fun to play. Really hectic, trying to juggle both the little guy and the turret. The music is a blast, I love it.

Very good concept! Nice art style.

My biggest complaint is the difficulty. It is hard from the start. I think it would be better if had fewer projectile enemies at the beginning and those enemies were slower or there was fewer of them.

Fun shooter game which involves coordination of the the character and the turret. Music and art style are also great and add to the experience.

This game is very well designed.  It rewards the player in taking risks, since you want to aggressively shoot the enemies but also want to gather as many stars as possible.  The upgrades don't necessarily make the game easier (since it makes it harder to dodge your own shots), which is a good thing for keeping the game challenging as it progresses.  The controls felt smooth, and the art + music were nice touches.  Nice work!
