I really like the atmosphere of the game. The graphics and music really help bring me into the world. The in game tutorial was also very nicely done. If you were to continue to work on it after the jam I would suggest tightening up the jumping and platform mechanics. I know it takes a long to get those to feel right, but you are def on the right track. Nice work!

this game is just all around great. Well done dude. I love the mechanics, the atmosphere, the story. Its all just great.

I love the music and the step sound, but i'm a bit sad at the missing jump-, pickup- and death sounds.

Also the game is very long for a jam game, and i did not finish this game, i only got to around the anger part.

But of course those are minor issues and the game is super well made overall. All around super well made game, and one of if not THE best game I've played in this jam.

9.8/10, super well made.

This is the total package! So much content is put into this game. I know its a faux pas to compare games but its a lovely Celeste-like game with wonderful art and sound! While I was not able to complete it in one sitting I'd say the difficulty is perfect for this style of game. Great work I hope to make such a polished game like this one day.

wow! that was a complete game! I truly enjoyed it and it took me a while to finish it. Some parts were tricky and difficult.. i loved that. The gameplay flawless.. not even one bug appeared. Thanks for the awesome experience 5/5  from me :)

The graphics and audio combine to create an amazing mood. I really liked the symbolism.

Just finished it and loved it, i didn't expect it to be  3 full "sections" but it was a pleasant surprise. I really liked the level design and the overall flow, very well done!

Great platformer. There is 2 things that could help you make it feel much better.

the first and most obvious is the lack of wall stick time, it makes jumping from a wall to the opposite direction too hard for the wrong reasons.

The second is the fall speed, i don't know if it is because you accelerate too fast or because there is no maximum fall speed but it felt stronger than it should.

Air control felt really good (until you start falling), i noticed some lovely coyote time and jump input buffering.

The art was very nice and the music fit really well. Good job !

It seems very fun and good, unfortunately, I'm terribly bad and wasn't able to finish it.

Brilliant platformer, reminiscent of Celeste. Not just in the ability to dash but also in that the platforming is designed around effectively using the character's abilities to overcome challenges, which is also very thematically appropriate in the context of the game's story. If there is any issue with the gameplay it's that I felt that jumps were often about precise jumps or dashes rather than making effective use of those abilities that make the gameplay so engaging to begin with. It's by no means an insurmountable challenge but it often feels more frustrating than satisfying to work through these types of platforming sections. More sound effects would have been appreciated to make actions feel punchier and more impactful but the music for each area is lovely and very much redeems the audio That aside, a really fun and inspired platformer with lovely art and music!

The concept was interesting and the level design was challenging, the mechanics left a lot of room.  Though the control scheme felt a bit weird in some parts.  Ex. the powers.  Some finer points:

  • The controls felt a bit floaty and sometimes difficult to be precise with.  So tweaking that could help a bit.  Maybe making movement more precise somehow etc.
  • The difficult curve seemed to vary wildly which was a bit weird.  So making that a bit more even would definitely help the experience.

Overall this was an interesting play and a nice concept.  From what other people have said it seems to feel very celeste like, which seems good?  So it's cool.

Beautiful game! It felt smooth to play, and all the pieces fit together very well.

I liked the story and the game itself, but the gameplay was REALLY frustrating. There was one thing that really bothered me, its inconsistency. Sometimes I would do something, like dash, and be able to go through fine, and other times I would do the same dash in the exact same position, and would stop suddenlly and fall on a spike. The gameplay itself, reminds me of Celeste, with the dash mechanic, and I think the game is pretty charming.

There was a bug in the camera, where when I died it would slide slightly to the left. As I died too much in that one screen, the spikes in the right wall went offscreen and I could only guess where they were. It could use some feedback for the player's death, as sometimes I died for no apparent reason. I also think that the spike hitboxes were very punishing.

Other than that, the game is extremely charming, the graphics are cute and fit the game pretty well, and the story is just beautiful. I think I was just bothered with the pusnishing gameplay. Great job!

Not a bad game overall! One thing I would improve on would probably be that all blocks are kept roughly the same color or make them more distinct because it kind of blends in with the overall sky/background too well so its a little hard to see. Other than that, great game!

Nice entry! I got strong Celeste vibes during the gameplay (and perhaps white palace from hollow knight). Gameplay-wise it was pure platformer 2d fun. If I were to add anything - a button to make text appear faster would also be a nice addition.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAa man well done, amazing job with the music, mechanics, effects, narrative and visuals. Hard, very celeste inspired and I'm in love,

Nice game, cool to see you used Godot. air-control movements need a little rework but otherwise it's all well thought

A really fun precision platformer. The characters and dialogue were great and the music fit the atmosphere very well. The variety of levels based on the mechanics was very impressive. I did end up softlocking myself on what I assume was the final screen of the game when a screen transistion went back without me :(
