Pretty cool game, its kind of slow paced though,  anyway its still a fun game

Fun concept though the execution could use some work. As others have said the helper AI could use some work and player speed is too low. I also really would've preferred if picking up a bag was a toggle. Holding G while also moving  with WASD feels really awkward. I also felt wall integrity degraded a bit too fast. Failure felt a bit too inevitable and getting a good score felt more reliant on lucky bag spawns than skill. Maybe make it degrade the wall slowly but occasionally the player gets a warning about an incoming wave that'll do significant damage all at once. That way the player gets more time to assess the situation, but it keeps the pressure on. This def has some potential to be a really fun little game though!

Side-note thanks again for rating my game and sorry it took a while for me to get to yours! I also commented about that audio issue you had and would really appreciate feedback on how that may have occurred if you get some time.

Very nice game for a jam! Manage to survive. Only once managed to score 20 points. Agreed with other comments about the speed of the player and the fact that the helpers goes to the same bag of sand.

The game has potential to be really funny but need that minor tweaking.

Great work! Congratulations!

Nice music choice in this. I think as others have mentioned, getting your helpers to pick their own bags would be a good place to improve this. However I like that you can pass the bags to them. I found myself wanting to throw bags to them like how you throw stuff in overcooked.

Developer

Thanks, I might even consider making a throw function later on.

Thanks, I am going to continue developing this game, so I'm hoping to get most bugs fixed.

This was a fun game! I liked the sound a lot. I think giving the controls when you start would be better than putting them in the menu, as people (namely me) tend to skip over that sort of the stuff. If you were to continue with this idea, you should add more mechanics, I think that would be nice. Nice job making this!

Thanks for the suggestion, a scene for a tutorial will definitely help.

Nice idea for the game! Woud be very cool if my little helpers was a little bit smarter and din't run for the same bags! :D But handing them bags over is very fun.

Great job!

OMG! This game was so fun! It was a little bit buggy, and crashed the first time I opened it, but it was fun to play!! :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks for saying that! Not sure why the game crashed though, Hope everything in the game went okay.

Fun little game which nicely fits the theme, there's a little bug fixing  required and additional tasks for the player to complete with the helpers would add some further depth.
Good job on this game I found it enjoyable to play.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback.

cool game! It's really creative & fits the theme perfectly! It is a tad buggy, but not game breaking which is good! The animations don't really fit the characters and the helpers can run on top of the rocks, so something in their colliders must be off. The pacing is VERY slow mainly due to the character movement. I think this would make more sense if the character were moving quickly (they are trying to save their town after all!!) but overall good work!

I'd appreciate it if you could play/rate my game as well! :)

Developer

I'll rate your game for sure!

Yes, there are quite a handful of them, but I will continue to polish this game, so if you have any request to make it better, please let me know!

my favorite part of was that you could hand off the sandbags to your helpers.

Developer(+1)

Thanks, that is something crucial that represents the theme.

Unfortunaly I couldn't hold my town that long the big wave came and swiped it all away haha. Good concept!

Developer

Thanks for rating my game, I hope you had fun.

I like the connection to the theme. The helpers are a bit buggy tho.

Developer

Thanks, a lot of people seem to notice that and say I should use A* Pathfinding.

Submitted

I'm confused

Developer

By what?

Submitted

I didn't understand the controls at first

Also all the helpers are jerks who stole my sandbags

Developer

Oh, ok.

Submitted

they are just trying to move sandbags more efficiently through the use of teamwork
