Wow i liked the music, didnt espect something like this from one person alone in the game jam. I guess its made with bosca ceiol but i really like it :D

the "Run mess" button made me laught not gonna lie, when you have an post jam update just write me i will play it again!

Developer

Thank you!! And I will definitely remember to tell you when I update it! (It'll be on a separate page, so the jam version will be untouched, kinda like Celeste, where you can still play the classic version. I am planning on rebuilding it from scratch, to hopefully evade some of the problems I encountered.)

Gameplay wise, really really fun actually! I really liked the nice chiptune music as well, didn't get annoying or anything, so well done. Would've been nice to have some instruction on the pause button, unless I missed that. Had to check in the comments on how to restart after getting softlocked lol.
I actually really liked this game overall. Simple, but well executed!

Developer

Thank you!!!

nice game got a little confused with changing characters

Awesome little game, loved the audio, and while it didn't have the most impressive graphics it had a coherent style. I would maybe make the character controllers a bit faster, as there is lots of slow walking around the levels to complete the objectives.

I made it to level 10 before I got a bit stuck, but really enjoyed the experience I had with the game as a whole.

I definitely look forward to seeing where you take this further.

Let me know if you get around to playing mine! Brought yours up to the 20 rating threshold with this rating I believe!

You can press p to pause, and there is retry from there btw.

I am planning on making a full version, and It should be better as I won't be crunched on time.

That's a very cool game. I really like the controls and the connection to the theme. The audio is also nice. Good job :)

Nice game! I really like the concept of using "yourself" as a stepping stone. It would be really helpful if you added a comment in the description on the game page about the P key bringing up the pause menu, I kept starting the game over until I read about it in the comments. Another piece of feedback would be to simplify the controls for the terminals. You could make it so that pressing z and x while at a terminal switches players directly, without the need for pressing space and E. It would also be helpful if there was a sort of indication to show the currently selected player, not only when in a terminal.

Noted!

  • Fullscreen seems broken

  • The movement feels really slide-y. It’s like there’s almost no friction (in both the air and on the ground)

  • I got stuck in this hole and I don’t know how to get out without refreshing the page:

  • I wasn’t able to get past this level:

Developer(+1)

Thank you!

  • I don't know how fullscreen didn't work, it always works for us.
  • Yeah... I'll do my best in the full version!...  Lots of things to make and fix... Time to work on some milanote boards...
  • You can p to pause, there is retry from there.
  • Um... the dialogue said that you should have one carry the other?

So the bottom isn't actually cut off, and I think you just click on the game to make it work?

Though you may have to zoom out to see everything.

(edit)So did it work?

Good game! The puzzle is pretty well designed in my opinion, but I felt like you could still make some changes to it. I felt like there are many repetitive elements in a level. For example, there are too many "get to the next switching point -> switch -> let everyone pass -> and get to the next switching point again". Reducing those repetitive elements might help your levels to be even neater. Another thing is that the "E" sign on the switching machine would disappear only if I pressed "E" twice. I wouldn't say it really causes any confusion, but still might be good if you could fix it. Overall, excellent work!

Developer

Thank you! I will try to fix all the bugs and glitches in the full version.

Awesome game, I really liked t he music and there's lots of content for a jam (imo), also the mechanics are very cool without being overly-complex. Overall great!

Developer

thank you!

Fun puzzle game. Glad I find out the p button reading other comments b4 playing it lol.
The puzzles are cool and the dialogue is fun.

For the UX, I think you can bind the "Z" and "X" into "A" and "D" as it feels more natural. You can also change the color of the current selecting box as when the boxes are far away, it is hard to tell the difference just by scaling it up a bit.

The background changing from terminal to nature gives a little refreshment, its a game jam so no big deals. Anyway, I enjoy using myself as a stair and left me behind hahaha.

If you have some spare time, do check out our game :)

Developer

thanks, I am planning on making a full version so everything has been noted! :)

There should be a restart button because I got stuck at one place. Other than that it is a nice game and concept is really good.

(please rate my game too :))

A pretty cool game idea that could be really cool with some polish and simpler controls.  The sliding wasn't too bad but is a simple thing to remove that could improve the game (still lets the player slide other players and boxes).  I got softlocked on level 10 by accidently pushing the box and it slid to an unable to move spot.  Also the music was very nice but I had to mute after hearing the character switch sound as it was too loud/sharp.  A good concept and I see you plan on making a full version which could add a lot.

Developer

Thanks!

This game is lacking in the graphics, and since the gameplay is simple, It's not very attractive. By adding some simple animations and a color scheme, you can make your game a lot better. Since you followed Brackeys, I recommend watching his "How to make your game look good" video.

Developer

Yeah, I got really stuck on time at the end, and there were way too many bugs and stuff :(

But I'm planning on making a full version, with lots of polish and good puzzles and no glitches and stuff!

When I saw the general premise for the game I knew I needed to play it, simply because the premise of a puzzle game where you switch between characters to get through was also the premise of mine. Anyway, there's some pretty cool stuff going on, I like the way it ties into the theme so nicely by making the "togetherness" the core mechanic. The controls take a bit of getting used to but the amount of momentum behind them is quite fun once you get the hang of it. The main issue I had with the game was both that the puzzles felt a bit too easy, but more to the point, it was really easy to get stuck somewhere and it be impossible to progress because of the lack of a restart button, which made me restart the game twice before I dropped it because I lost patience. Saying all of this though, game's cool and has potential with some more features and polish added, mostly a restart button to negate the design making it sometimes very easy to get stuck somewhere you can't quite reach. Definitely nailed the theme for sure though, and the game managed to have enough charm for me to mostly enjoy my time with this one despite the frustrations.

If you have the chance I'd appreciate if you'd also rate my game.

Developer

p is pause

Developer

But yeah

It's why I'm planning on making a full version, where I'm not stuck with only a week, where I can take breaks! Basically I want to remake it, but lots better. Thank you for the feedback!
