Love the theme.
Gravity and particles always look amazing.

In what way does your game fit the theme?
In Newtraction you need to bring all of your orbs together using the 'stronger-together' force of gravity.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, everything is by me.
Help
Newtraction is a puzzler in which the objective is to bring all of your orbs together in a certain amount of time. Select an orb to modify it's gravitational field using your given power, or harvest back power from other orbs, and then play out your scenario. Orbs with more powerful field attract others more, bigger orbs remain fixed and their field cannot be modified.
Controls
W/A/S/D/Q/E - Movement
Click - Select orb
O/P/Scroll - Change selected orb's field
R - Run your scenario
F - Sandbox spawn / move

This game looks amazing, the graphics are incredibly good! I love the mechanic, it allows for some really cool and creative puzzles. The only problems I had with this game are that the instructions aren't very clear (just some text on levels 0 and 1 should fix that), and that there isn't a very clear indicator as to which orbs have touched the big one, and which ones haven't. Also, the final levels (except level 9) felt easier than the middle ones, but that could just be me.
Great job, this game is really good!
Oh yes swarm particles :D love them :D
Was a nice time with the game :9 thank you.
Really big fan of the graphics of this one and the audio pairs very well. I like this a lot, it was a bit tricky to understand at first glance but i did eventually get the hang of it, a tutorial level like others have stated would be nice, very good work. Liked this a lot!
Amazing graphics and sound design. I had the most fun with the sandbox mode, although it would be better if there was more control with orb types and deleting objects.
Awesome! A bit hard to figure out what to do at first but I understand we all had limited time and you are working on the tutorial for the post-jam version! Other than that, I might have a strange request. I really feel like if there is a storyline in your game that would be awesome! I feel like there must be a magnificent and touching story behind this. I don't know why but probably because of the meditative atmosphere you created! Good job!
The music and visuals are amazing. I just love the way you made the orbs and the idea of changing gravity in each orb is a very interesting concept and it has lots of potential. It was hard to figure it out at first but once I did I had a lot of fun. Really good game.
This game looks pretty and sounds great, but I don't know what I'm suppose to do xD
What would help a bit is if you had your controls explained and state what the objective is, once you launch a level.
This is my favourite game in the jam. The idea is very simple, you manipulate gravity to bring the orbs together, but this simple idea is used to create some fascinating and highly complex puzzles. I love the way it makes you think about how objects interact through the force of gravity. something everyone thinks they understand but this game really puts that to the test. Not to mention how stunning this game is.
Great looking game!
Would be nice with a faster restart :D
Awesome graphics! A great atmosphere with the music. I can spend a while just watching the orbs. It's beautiful. Couldn't get the mechanics tho.
It's probably my computer but I couldn't get past the menu screen, the app just closes itself. Maybe if you made a web ver in the future? No pressure though. The graphics look great so far.
Hey, I had some problems to unterstand how your game works but I like it. The graphics and audios are very good.
I like the visuals, the particles looks great! Little bit confusing at the start, one tutorial level would be great!
The mood of this game is amazing. I felt like some sort of god setting up planets' properties somewhere in the other galaxy. I think its the music what makes this game so outstanding. Too bad I cant say it obout sound effects - win/lose screen sfx feels like taken from completely different game. Also it took me very long to understand the rules of the game. I just kept trying random combinations of variables and hoped that it works. I think you could get rid of loose screen. It is just annoying, and makes restart take very long time with this whole spinning around animation. Overall good game with a few easy to fix issues.
Thanks a lot! Let me know if you want a free key for the full game as a thank you. (Release Update is in July)
Really cool game! I would have loved that it had some kind of tutorial in the first level or something, just to get the idea, but once I knew the controls it’s really satisfying to play and the idea is very fresh and unique. I loved the music, graphics and ambience, very chill and fun to play ^^
Technicaly is incredible that you made this game in just 4 days, it is amazingly pollished and probably has the better graphics on the jam. My only complaint is that the beggining puzzles are not very interesting to solve. Personaly I don't like trial and error solutions. Anyway, this is an amazing job for a week, so it is even more awesome that you made it in 4 days (I am still wondering how). Congratulations.
Thank you very much! I agree that the beginning puzzles can sometimes be too bland, but levels have to be designed in such a way that mechanics are taught with every level in increasing complexity. Still I agree that I could have done a better job. I'm going to rate yours now BTW as a thank you! It wasn't that difficult to do all of this in 4 days since I basically did this almost all day (except the last day).
I agree with everyone else that some type of In-game tutorial is needed. Most players are going to be instantly going into your levels. Also a small nitpick but the zip file would be better named if it was the name of your game. The graphics and music were nice though and it was a pretty relaxing game to play. Overall great job!
