In what way does your game fit the theme?
To proceed through the assortment of puzzles, you must utilise the 2 characters' unique skillsets in order to proceed, with it being impossible to progress without having both of them work together.

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
While the majority of the art assets outside of the character models were from Unity Asset Packs, I wrote all the code myself from scratch.

I really liked this, it's a great idea and works perfectly with the theme. I really loved controlling a roomba. You did a good job with the puzzles and the gameplay. Just some small things, I found that the text moved a bit fast and sometimes I missed what I was supposed to be doing. Also because frank was a physics body I was able to almost tip him up, and I seemed to squish him at one point.

Really enjoyed this little game. I thought the art style was quite appealing. I didn't personally mind the characters movement speed (as in reality, a fridge and robotic vacuum cleaner wouldn't be that fast).

I do kind of wish there was more obvious things to make progression opportunities stand out, like an outline that something is interactible, a glow effect to show that somewhere is the way to progress etc. I found myself wandering around the 2nd level going back and forth across the bridge, not really sure what I had to do once I got the keycard.

Was a nice gamejam entry and I was happy to play!

Not so clear what I should do. And the player movement speed could be a little faster. And some background for the texts would make them more readable. Nice looking levels and great sounds.

Really unique concept! Game is super polished and honestly just looks and feels really pleasing!
Some critique:
The slow movement speed. It might be personal preference, but watching these guys trail along took away from it for me.
Unclear objectives. At times it felt pretty unclear what exactly the goal was. A couple times it offered me up a restart after I thought I'd reached the objective, and had to fiddle around to figure out what went wrong.
Overall, enjoyed the game still!

the game is so cool.

Overall a great game.

This game definitely fits the theme perfectly and has some very interesting mechanics. The music really grounded me in this space dystopia and the whole game feels like a complete experience (if not the first level of a much larger game).

Another strong point were the puzzles, as they were definitely innovative and unlike anything I personally have seen before.

The music on this was indeed bopping

Developer

Thank you very much, I'll play your game in return soon.

Submitted(+1)

I loved the concept but the movement is way too slow and its hard sometimes to see whats what, walls need to be a different color,it needs to be clear what character you are controlling, etc.

Great game.
I like the conversation between the robots.
I love it, that you had to switch between robots because they have different abbilities.
The music and the sounds are nice and fit together well.

I felt like the movement is a bit too slow (but that can also be just me).
You could make the title screen scale when you play in full screen.

yo It's me DIO, anyway the movement and puzzles was NICE, there is not really any tutorial but I read one of the comments and luckily don't have spend an hour just to learn what to do, the music and sound was fitting especially the different sound Frank and Roberto made, just wish there is more sound like getting dismantled by a robot, the visuals was better than I thought just add a little lighting like a lamp or make the one your controlling glow which fixes the problem of "what do I do now that I click on it", love the simple story at first I thought the Frank would betray Roberto, like in fallout new vegas XD, the game was glitchy so I can by pass most of the challenge like at the last level where I push the blue button the trigger the robot to chase me than I close the door and he was push into the next room so I keep argue and yonk the keycard XD, I did the same with the other guy so I just skip the entire other sections which I think is a sneaking sections, also sometimes the sentence does not end properly so I was sometimes confuse, usually the very last word, also is no body gonna comment on the fact that Frank can do a 180 turns and can get up after falling XD, I also realize that you could very well fall of the map on the final sections with a bunch of robot,

good job :D

Cool concept but I didn't know what to click, I clicked every object but nothing happened.

Developer(+1)

Unfortunate, but fair enough. After you click you need to move with WASD but I didn't really make that clear. Thanks for checking it out even so.

Submitted

ok, sorry but what are you meant to click?

Developer(+1)

The yellow circular object

ok, thanks :)

Loved the silly humor in the game. I really like text pop ups that appear based on what the player is doing or where they are.

As others have mentioned, it is kind of hard to see where the walls are in the levels.

Also another improvement I would do is to speed up the characters a little bit. They felt a little bit slow when traversing areas.

Developer

I was planning on increasing the speed but then I found out the the way I had the character controller set up meant that over a certain speed they'd just start phasing through walls, so I do plan on fixing that up but I just didn't have the time during the jam itself. Thanks for checking out my game, I really appreciate it.

Sorry I kept clipping and couldn't get a good grasp on this game. I will say the typing text was a little ear piercing so maybe a lower pitch on that. As others have mentioned the perspective makes it hard to see where I could go and I felt like I was getting caught in places I shouldn't have. The music was a decent choice for a puzzle aspect and the visuals were nice individually but an overarching color scheme might help with navigation.

I see some other comments here talking about it but this needs some better visual clarity. Everything kinda blends together and is hard to interpret at times. Could also use polishing. Managed to clip out of bounds on multiple occasions. Enjoyed the premise though and would like to see it progress!

This game worked perfectly for the theme, I really enjoyed the premise and characters. I want more games featuring Roberto and Frank.

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much for the kind words, I definitely plan on fixing some issues with this game and making it an overall more polished experience at the very least.

Similar to the other comments, I think using some other colours for the walls would help with navigating the levels, and some minor highlighting of interactable things would help too. It took me a little while to figure out who i was at the start. Otherwise I quite enjoyed the game! It definitely fits the theme, and I love the dialogue between the roomba and the fridge! Well done Sebastian, I'm impressed :)

Cool puzzle game! I always like the co-op ones, I think the idea and setting is great. I think I agree with most of the comments below, some times it was quite hard to see where to go and what was a wall and wasn't, maybe slight changes in perspective could help. Also some highlighting or ui would be helpful to display which character you have selected and anything you can interact with.

But all in all, great job :)

Like the puzzle aspect of the characters unique use  situations, however I had a really hard time detecting hight and walls that where almost parallel with the viewport. If you angled your directional light a bit more to create clear shadows, this problem would almost be solved. I think you also need to increase your shadow distance a bit, as sometimes the shading seemed to clip out.

All by all a nice game!

edit: I forgot to mention that at first I could not for the life of me figure out where my character was, maybe a highlight or something could fix this.

Cool puzzle! I liked the idea of furniture and robots working together :D

Sometimes a player cant see a wall, but "feel" it, so it would be useful if those would be more visible. But anyway, i really enjoyed your game and the puzzles!

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much for the kind words, extremely glad you enjoyed the game despite its shortcomings. I definitely agree with your thoughts on the game in terms of needing to have better differentiated the walls from the floor and designed the game's visuals a bit more around the top down perspective, so thanks for the constructive criticism, I appreciate it a lot.

Nice game bro
