Alone your ships are useless, but together they can crush their enemies (literally!). By bringing each other together they become stronger.

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
We made everything except the skybox. Which is "SpaceSkies Free" by Pulsar Bytes on the Unity Asset Store

Feels really good to play!  The graphics, effects, and audio all work together to help kills and especially combos really satisfying to earn! great job!

The gameplay is super fun, and it's absolutely perfect. the only problem is having no audio, and maybe some improvement on the UI. Otherwise, it's a very well done game!

Very entertaining game. I replayed it several times. Scored 51100 on Round 9.
I'll still retry later a few more times. Really like it!

Very fun game. The idea is simple yet rather orignal and works well making for unique and satisfying gameplay. Great job!

I also appreciate there being a tutorial level explaining the game through gameplay and not just text. That's not something many games have though could use.

It's cool that the sound of crushed enemies gets higher when getting a combo. What would make it even more rewarding would be having score numbers pop up when destroying enemies which would also give the player a better sense of how many points they've earned.

I absolutely love the interpretation of the theme for this game. It was difficult in a fun way and it's amazing that you could choose between difficulties if you're like me and aren't the best at these types of games lol. Super unique idea, for sure.

This was undoubtedly the best thing I've played yet in this jam for the way it was able to so cohesively bring together a variety of game elements to make for an engaging experience. The core mechanic is really unique and interesting, with the coordination challenges provided by having to simultaneously control both characters adding an additional layer of challenge. The variety of enemy types that made players have to think differently were also really cool, making it that you couldn't just utilise the same strategy on every level, and giving the game a really nice feeling of progression to it. Further adding to this is how satisfying you made the central mechanic with the rising notes depending on how large your combo is, providing additional incentive to go for those big combos beyond just getting a high score. Additional touches like the difficulty settings also gave the game another level of polish and completeness to it. For criticisms, I'll say that the UI was a bit unappealing to look at, particularly with the small text size, and the artwork was a bit simplistic at points, especially with the powerups just not looking complete. Even so, I really, really liked this game.

Great single player. Quite challenging. Feel satisfying of the combo sound effect. Would be better if the UI larger.

It feels really juicy when you kill an enemy and I think it is a really nice touch. I also like the music because it just adds something else to the game. Overall, Great game!

So, this was a fun game, I had to do it on Easy after failing hard a few times on whatever is the default setting, made it to Round 4 with 5850 points.

The controls were my biggest issue, and honestly, I'm not sure if anything could get done. My coordination just wasn't having it LOL!

I think you did very well by limiting your scope and adding all the nice "juice" to the game.

Yo! This game is really cool.  Takes a little while to get used to the controls but feels awesome once you do. 

I love all the polish that went into this: the slight lag when you kill something, the meaty thunk, and the music really drives it home.  It's really satisfying to round up 5-6 enemies and kill them all at once.  This is a really great submission and you should be very proud

Really fun game. Very difficult to control two characters at once, but the challenge adds to the fun. The shockwave effect is really cool looking. My main complaint is the UI elements are the standard. But that just comes down to the time limit. Overall great game!
