In what way does your game fit the theme?
Ants Can't Swim is a game that emphasizes the theme "Stronger Together" by showing that a single ant on it's own can't achieve much, but when they work together they can overcome any obstacle.
You play as a lone ant finding some friends to help along the way who give special maneuvers that would be impossible for a single ant alone. Together, you will reach the food and be filled with determination.
Expect many many MANY bugs, graphical errors and problems all throughout. Do not fret because these are features, the only bugs here are the ants.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
We wrote all the code and made the music and SFX. All art assets were downloaded from free sources.

This game is a great use of the theme and its really fun!
Great use of theme, but need some movement bugfix.
The idea and the music is good. I was not able to get very far, but I had fun trying the game.
Simple mechanic like throwing ants around is not something I thought could be this much fun, good job man, great job also with the background movement and aesthetic.
The throwing ants was hilarious. Very interesting mechanic, especially with the double jump. This game would be great with a 'bullet mode' type slowdown so you can aim a little easier. Some indication where you should be jumping to in a mini map or something would be helpful too! Overall, the game was a lot of fun.
I was quite a fan of the core mechanic of this game, with the throwing of ants being quite fun and making for some nice moments of problem solving, especially when combined with the fact that you can't get off platforms without throwing yourself, making you completely rethink what at first glance may seem like a simple platformer. Main issues I had was that sometimes the character controller would work in strange ways once I landed in some places, sometimes even reversing my controls. The red line to show the throwing arc was also really inconsistent, sometimes showing itself perfectly and other times only displaying a really tiny, short line that effectively communicates nothing. The presentation of the game was really nice as well, with the nice, simplistic artstyle working with the game's tone very nicely. Cool game that could work really well with some more content.
Not bad at all, had some fun playing it. I like the ant backflips :D Also rate my game if you have time!
Really fun main game mechanic. Jumping around the Level actually feels awesome!
Rated! Your art style is really nice and I had fun flinging the ants all over the place, great work!
Liked the art style. Is a good game fun to play but I got stuck in platforms one too many times.
Simple but funny game! I love the art style in your game! I will also appreciate if you can take your time and rate my game . Thanks :D
Pretty simple but interesting idea! I like the art, the sounds and the music! At some point in the second level, I got stuck inside one of the platforms so i had to restart. Cool concept overall, nice!
I’m enjoying all of the ant games with this theme! I really enjoyed this game too 😊 a bit glitchy on my end but still had a fun time!
This one was very funny. I like flinging the ants around and collecting as many as i can to get more jumps. Great job on what you've done here. It's a little gitchy, but I mean, what isn't in a week long game jam? Haha.
Pretty fun! It was just a little too buggy.
- Sometimes ant would fly off to the side when walking around a floating island
- On the level with the fruit in a tree I hit it, heard chewing sounds, and fell back down, but didn't beat the level
