The game is centered around a boy who forms a bond with a neighbor's dog.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?

F to interact
If pong breaks, move to the blue bar and hit escape!

good story, and an interesting take of art direction, with the pixel art and non pixelated background, nice job!
I thought it will turn into a horror game/story for a second, glad it didn't :D
Nice art style, really enjoyed how colourful it all is! I enjoyed the idea of the story too. Good job!
This is a very fun and balanced game which I could play for hours.
Great job! I laugh hard when i got why the dog’s name is pongo!
Loved the isometric look blended with the pixel art! Though I was a bit lost at first, I enjoyed the gameplay. Great job!
If you have a chance please check out and rate my team's entry "Beatdown Breakdown Boomtastic": https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-5/rate/928162 It's a rhythm-based brawler!
Very nice art.
Nice one, like your art!
I like it too
good story!
Very good game and story. The art was very nice. Keep up the good work.
Somewhat confusing, but I think I got there in the end. The dog just up and bounced with the ball in the middle of the game. Not sure if that's part of the design but if not it's a pretty on-theme bug haha.
I've never had my expectations set and shattered so many times within 5 minutes (in a good way - this was really enjoyable!)
Thank you, I appreciate the kind words.
Definitely the best game I've played till now in the jam. Good job! It's so fun and I really like the concept :)
Wow, thank you!
Cool concept, nice art, pretty catchy name :D
Neat little story, unfortunately I had the pong game break on me and I tried resetting it based on your commands but not luck. I like the dog's art a lot.
It moved me.. oh i've recently had a similar... love always love.. 5/5 thanks for that..
Aww! That's so sweet, thank you <3
Sounds like you lost a special one, sorry about that. They give us so very much and ask so little in return. Thanks for playing and the kind rating.
I really enjoyed the heartwarming story, and the calm pace! It's cool that you combined so many genres as well. I had a lot of fun when I realized that I could move forwards in pong, that was a neat little surprise. If I were to be picky, my only thing would be to add some art at the ends of the street.
Thank you so much :3
I never had this much fun playing pong lmao
lol, thats great! At first we programed the paddle to be locked on x axis, but it was slow and boring. Then a lightbulb moment happened and i think i played for like half an hour or more.
This game really hit me in the feels man. Great game!
Dogs are the best! Thanks for playing.
I really enjoyed playing your game, as it was really interesting seeing the same rooms in different states with something new to explore everytime. Especially as the music intensified and it got black and white, I was really hyped up! Unfortunately though, that was already pretty much the end of the game. ): I would've loved to continue playing, so definitely add more levels in the future, if you want to improve the game. But other wise, really great jam submission, I really enjoyed playing it, keep it up! (If there was a full realease, I would definitely play it!)
THANKS! You noticed alot of the subtle details. We originally wanting some scenes with the new puppy, and a faster pace pong game, since the puppy would be faster than good old Pongo.
