I loved this games music and sounds and actual gameplay!

I got to level 4 I think it was when i got interested in the less is more mechanic so I started spamming spacebar(Horrible idea)

I think it was when i got to 1875 health and 304 bubble attack things I decided there was no hope and I exited the game

I loved it! 10/10

Nice challenging game, liked the color palette and the music.

Funny game with matching music and difficulty. It's fun, even if many opponents can arise when defeating and ultimately all plans can be ruined. :D

Well made. I like the music and art but you get stuck very soon!

sooo yeah, i think i kinda went overboard. love the music and artsyle tho

Really good game. Especially the art and the music are so good. Just the theme is missing a bit.

Love the art and music! I assume the link to the theme was though the more kills = more enemies though I wasn't entirely sure. One small tweak would be to make the time after you die much much shorter maybe get rid of the countdown entirely as it can get frustrating as well as the usual polish screenshake, particles, etc would be nice additions. The key collecting was quite nice also. Great Job!

Well done!

My favorite game of this game jam so far! Loved the art, music and the perfect difficulty <3

Thank you!

it was pretty good, but there was never any need to kill any of the enemies because you can just rush through all the levels without being disturbed

Developer

Hey, thanks for the review.

Really? Then you must be very good, I keep dying in level 5 even when I don't kill enemies haha.

What do you think about the ending? I tried to make it creepy.

Nice game, i love the art and the music

Criticism - I understood that some enemies duplicated due to me using up my attacks, but I never actually understood what was going on with the enemies duplicating.  Also, if you use up your attacks and you don't kill any enemies, then you've practically lost cause you cant gain health or attacks back

Support - The art, music, and sound design were all very solid and helped tie the game together.

20 minutes of a simple but entertaining game (to a great extent, due to its intense difficulty), but at the same time it manages to leave you something and get you thinking with just a few lines of text and graphics. Amazing.

Its a solid game that works well. I think the enemies got stuck a couple of times but outside of that the gameplay felt really clean! Awesome job.

Really did feel like an old retro game, pretty cool!

Great graphics, great music, it has a retro vibe like it's an old Sega game. I would have gone for smaller levels with fewer enemies, and given the player less health, but this one is pretty close to a 5/5.

This is a solid game I really like it but it's a bit difficult for me hahah

Simple game but it works. We have so much life that killing is not very necessary. I realize later (in comments) that killing is a bad thing :). Nice job.

I like this! The mechanic is creative and gives lots of long term vs short term decisions. My main problem with the game is level 5, the purple level (I think it was called "The Cursed City"? Can't remember exactly).  There's way too many areas where it's almost if not impossible to get hit withouth destroying enemies, causing the later parts of the stage to become infested.

I really like the game, but I think destroying enemies should be a plan B if you can't or don't want to dodge something, not required to go unharmed through a section.

Developer

Thank you, TheFaz!

Yes, exactly, you hit the nail, this is a game for long term + short term decisions. Try to make progress without killing enemies, it will be easier!

The Wicked City (5th level) is the last one. You will be surprised by the end of it, I promisse.

i like the game art everything but do you think you have a bug?

Developer(+2)

Lol, absolutely yes :(
My intention was to have no more than 50 enemies per screen, but that validation didn't make it to the final build. Now I can't fix it until the jam finishes it.

I'm glad you made it out to the 5th level. (It's the last one! you will be surprised by the end of it).
