Ranked from 116 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

In what way does your game fit the theme?
After reaching the end of the level and pulling the lever, the player has to rewind his movements back to the door at the beginning of the level.

Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, I wrote all of the code myself during the jam, but I used premade assets that I found online for art and audio.

This was a lot of fun. I liked the challenge of collecting the gems and it's nice that they are optional. I like that you used the ghost images to show where you have been. It's probably one of my highest ratings so far, you can always add more levels later but it was a good size for a game jam anyway.

I'm glad you had fun!

Nice implementation. Though not original, the animations and graphics are really cool!

The graphics and especially the character animations look great. The gameplay is fun and it's a spin on the theme that I have not seen before.  Well done!

Hi, I had some problems playing the WebGL version, I use mac so didn't download the installer.  I would love to play the complete game... when I reach the end of the level and pull the lever nothing happens when I press the spacebar key.

It looks great tho, the MC's controllers are super responsive and I certainly appreciate that you added different music for each level. Maybe a sFx for the footsteps? The frozen images are awesome!! Would love to talk to you about how you implemented the sound. Did you do it directly in Unity?

I did music and sound for this one: https://mastro2k.itch.io/whathehole Maybe we can Jam together in the future!

Good job Ninja Monkey!

Developer

Hey! Thank you for your feedback, and I'm glad that you liked the game. When you reach the lever, you can only rewind back using the backspace key. I heard that some other people where confused that rewinding wasn't bound to the space key, so I will work on solving that soon. I also added sound effects for footsteps, but they are very low and you have to lower the music a lot to hear them. I will also have to look into that later. If you want to talk about how I implemented the audio, you can give me your Discord tag and we can chat there. Cheers!

DUDE, YOU GAME IS AMAZING! I replayed the game , I love the different music of every level! The music sounds fluid and uninterrupted throughout the level it is marvelous.  I must apologize for my confusion before,  when I first played your game I hadn't slept like in a week, but I played it today full conscious and I just love it.

Developer

No problem! Glad you liked it!

I can imagine myself playing the game on my phone when waiting somewhere. Either make a lot more levels or make some kind of level generator and you can publish on mobile

Developer

Great idea. I'm going to consider that idea after I polish the game a little more.

The game felt nicely polished, well done! I especially like the feel of the control, but a way to restart would be nice :)

Developer

Thanks for your feedback! I will add that feature to after the jam.

Really fun and well made game. The visuals are clean and the controls feel nice, and the addition of an optional objective is something i like a lot. This is indeed a very cool game

I tottaly loved the idea and the game itself! I wish there were more levels)

Also, I think that adding some button for quick level restart would be good. Just in case when your planned route isn't as good as you want.

Great game, you should be proud of yourself.

Developer

Thank you! That's a great idea, I am definitely going to add it after the jam.

A very cool game indeed.

Really nice use the of theme. I love the audio (especially the death sound). If I were to change one thing, it would be the collision on the platforms. It felt a bit inconsistent to me.

Developer

Thanks, I will take that into consideration
