In what way does your game fit the theme?
Rewind as in winding a rope/chain around something over and over again.

Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I made everything from scratch except for the AI tracker scripting.

This is a very unique game!  As others have said, this would make a cool mobile game, but the controls are very hard/confusing so they need more work.  This game could definitely use some simple music as well!  However the main idea is very unique and interesting!

A fun and unique idea! Definelty alot of potential! Could be a cool phone game as well :D

Hey! Fun idea with lots of potential, level design is nice, maybe graphics needs a bit more workl! I would prefer WASD controls since I'm on a 60% keyboard with very limited access to arrow keys. Keep it up!

Haha, that was weird. Deffinetly out of everyone's confort zone. Anyway, Interesting game! :D

Deffinetly would change that aim and shoot mechanic to use the mouse though.

I see a high amount of potential. I love the concept. The only issue I found is it would be nice if you used a mouse and click for aiming as it hard to align the ball at the end to shoot straight, at least for me. And I guess you gain points by wrapping completely around?

Simple, interesting mechanics.  I think it could use some adjustment to controls and enemy AI but overall you're on to something

I really like the abstract and simple style! Good game! Congrats!

really weird and challenging mechanic!  i mean i died like 50 times. but it is unique game. good job!

I like the concept a lot adding in that element of being tied to the center.  I can't seem to get it to register that I have wrapped it around all the way? if you've got some pointers I'd love to give it another go.Might be cool if the enemies could be hurt / killed by the chain I found it fun trying to wrap them up to stop them getting me! Nice job.

The rope is definitely glitchy. That's what took most of my time. In my experience, the main reasons people have trouble getting the rope to register are:

A) The rope isn't tightly wound around the center

B) They are trying to wrap the rope around the center in the same direction twice

C) The game is just glitching

I did consider adding in a system where if you gain enough speed, the rope turns yellow and becomes a weapon, but didn't end up having enough time. I think I am going to update in the future. Thanks for the critique!

Ah nice going to give it another go. Yeah that would be so cool spinning round slicing through enemies!

I apparently am just really bad at these types of games so it was tough but I had some laughs,  I really like the concept of winding the chain while fighting off the invaders. Great work!

I had fun playing this! I made it to.. Level 4? The movement and chain physics felt good to me, and I got a few laughs when I went out of control. Nicely done!

Developer

That's actually a really good score! None of the playtesters got that far...

way too hard. Or maybe I suck xD I can’t tell when I wrapped around enough. Am I doing it right?

Developer

It is definitely harder than I wanted it to be. The problem I ran into was that the difficulty comes from what is basically the core mechanic so fixing didn't work out. Thanks for trying my game out!
