Really glad to hear you enjoyed it so much! Level design involved much more trial and error than it did planning. The first thing I did was outline the structure of the levels, so I decided how many bulbs and how big each box would be. The principle here was to ramp up the size of the box before increasing the number of bulbs, to create kind of a zigzag progression. From there I mostly just placed the bulbs and batteries randomly and played a lot. Having friends or family to try your puzzles is a big plus.

This definitely my favorite game from the jam so far. Super creative and interesting take on the theme, yet simple enough that I could pick it up quickly. The art style is phenomenal and cohesive and the music and sound effects really tie everything together. This could definitively be a winning entry.
Really fun game and unique take on the theme. I also like the art style a lot. My only suggestion is that the little grabber points on the end of the cranks could maybe be a little bit bigger and easier to click. Kept missing them while frantically moving my mouse between different cranks.
EDIT
Coming back to this one now that the rating period is open. I like this game a lot. Just such a unique twist on the clicker formula and it's so engaging. Good work!
