How does your game fit the theme?
In this game you must get higher by jumping on platforms, but you don't have control over jumps (jumping is automatic). Also, your controls depend on the platform you landed. So you are out of jump control and the controls change 'every' jump (depending on level generation).

Did your team create the art for this game during the 48 hour time slot?

Cool game! I saw it on Taco's stream and think it's really good!

Nice sounds and interesting approach to the theme!

Great job!

Thank you for playing and the feedback.

Honestly didn't expect to play this for as long as a did, you created something that is genuinely fun and challenging! Love it!

Developer

Thank you very much, and first it seems basic but it drags you in :D.

It's a fascinating game, could be fleshed out more, but more entertaining than solitaire!! PS: Don't read the description of my video... It may give you bad ideas...

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing and the video, yeah the game needs better graphics (I am not artist :D), and also maybe some more mechanics. The plan is to release it on mobile so if you want, you can watch out for that.

Submitted

this was fun, but a bit boring without stuff to do besides jump between platforms

Developer

Thank you for the feedback, too bad you find it boring, but maybe I can add more mechanics just need to see what kind.

Omg, this game is super addictive. Very good job. I'd play the shit out of this on my smart phone at work (when no one was looking <_<).

Developer

Thank you very much, how did you manage to play it on a smart phone, wondering because I want to make a mobile version.

This is a really fun twist on a mechanic that seems like it's been done to death. I was worried when I saw "you can't stop jumping", but I was pleasantly surprised once I started playing. The controls were very intuitive and the physics felt very well-tuned. Super addictive and I would download if this was released as a mobile game. Fantastic job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing and the feedback. There is a plan to release it on mobile after the game jam ends, so if you want, you can follow me for updates.

Great! I'll keep an eye out for it. We'd love your feedback on our game as well. SpaceBus

Fun little game! Gets nicely more challenging as you go on.

Developer

Thank you for playing, I created a simple difficulty curve that dictates the random generation, so it gets harder, but it needs some improvement.

Submitted

Nice work! I enjoyed the simple yet fun gameplay and clean graphics. Well done! :)

Developer

Thank you for the feedback and playing the game.

This game's mechanic is not only original, but genuinely really fun! And I really mean that. It was out of control but still easy to understand .. and it felt FAIR, unlike a lot of other games in this jam. I really really liked it.

I'd only change two things:
• There's not much breathing room at the very beginning to really learn the controls without constantly dying a slooow and painful death.
• And related to the first point, the death + restarting sequence could be quicker. This is nitpicking, but I wish it didn't require me to use the mouse to click on a button when all my fingers are on the keyboard.

Otherwise, I really liked it. I'm actually gonna play it again now hahah

Developer

Thank you very much for such detailed feedback.

  • if I put more breathing room it will get too easy at the begining after a while, but I get you, many have struggled, need something better to teach the controls
  • I hear you, did consider it myself to be faster but after the submission time, and you are not the first to say about keyboard controlled menu

This game makes me go YES!

I played this game in this video here (11:49):

Developer

Thanks for playing and sharing the video, on platforms with vertical lines you  must use up and down arrows, to move it up and down.

Submitted

ok lol i didnt get that far

Submitted

I got to 49! The moving platforms are mean. "Don't move away nooooo~"

What you have here is something you could probably easily polish up into a full mobile release (just with swipe updown and leftright). Compared to, say, Flappy bird, it even feels less frustrating - I found a lot of situations where I landed on a lower platform when misangling a jump, giving me another chance. :)

Developer

Thank you for the feedback, yeah the moving platforms are not ideal, didn't have time to do more playtesting, but post jam release for mobile is very possibly happening, add the game to collection if you want to be updated.

49 is pretty good, my best is 64. :D

Submitted

nice job! very cool, i would love if you made a mobile version so i could play it when im bored

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing and feedback. There probably will be a mobile release post jam, if you are interested add the game to collection I will keep you updated.

Wow this is super addictive. Love the pace of it too, really got my heart racing. Reminds me a little of Doodle Jump, which makes me I wonder if it would work well as a touchscreen mobile game. Ps. My high score is 22

Pps. The one word I would not use to describe this game is "relaxing" 😂

Developer

Thank you for the feedback,
Many people want this on mobile so I will probably release it, and I put the word "relaxing" just because it isn't, so that people would "be how is this relaxing?", but more you play it the more Zen it feels. :D

Submitted

The intuitive controls are very good!

Developer

Thank you for playing and the feedback.

This was pretty fun, the cube moved very fast but was good to control!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!

At first I though this was dumb, then, I was playing trying to make a good record. It was great! I could see this as being a fun movile game I would play  to loose time. You did a great job

Submitted

p.d. I made it to 48

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the feedback. Yeah, I know that game isn't really appealing and hard at begging, but when you get hang of it is kind of fun.
Great score, my personal best is 64.

Submitted(+1)

really fun

Submitted

I could see myself playing this for a while - climbing higher and higher is intrinsicly fun, and the controls require precision, but you can get a feel for them pretty quickly, and it's rewarding when you do. The presentation is a little basic, though.

Developer(+1)

Thank you, really appreciate the video. I know that visually isn't really good, but it was my first game jam, also I am a programmer, so I did the best I know and didn't want to use existing assets. I comfort myself that the design is minimalist :D .

very good game, phisics are well done and adictive

i enjoyed even if i only got 13 as a high score

well done

Developer

Thank you for the feedback, 13 is actually high, so don't worry.
