Concept is fine but the gameplay is quite janky.

I'll strictly talk about gameplay since the long light novel-esque title already tells you the entire story (?). The idea is perfectly fine but the basic attack combo rarely took off since by spamming the attack button it would just perform the first attack. I'm not sure why but the attack itself more often than not did not connect precisely with the enemy: maybe the hitbox was too small? I liked the sfx of the special attacks and i think i found a bug for which a circle of damage permanently stayed with me killing everything on touch. If i were to give advice i would say: maybe give a death animation to the enemies instead of making them disappear and maybe do not let the player spam attacks and special attacks as freely or the entire difficutly will turn into a joke (especially with spamming special attacks). Keep it up and give our game some feedbacks if you have time!

Thank you for the feedback! The web version has visual bugs (also mentioned on the submission page), the hitbox isn't small it is just that the damage is dealt during the animation frames so spamming quickly will trigger the animation sequence again without dealing damage. I understand that right now we can spam special attacks and beat the game easily, that is what we were aiming for when we made it this way. We wanted the player to beat the game easily, some people like challenges but most people want to beat the game in about 5 minutes and move on to try some other games (since it is a jam game). Thank you for playing and sharing your thoughts!

When you start the game, the mouse doesn't lock into the camera perspective, so that makes this game unplayable for anyone with multiple monitors. You should definitely look into getting that fixed for future games you make. Otherwise, this was pretty cool.  Keep making good stuff.

I played with the windows version and found the basic attack way to weak. Also sometimes the enemies ran away from me.

Thanks for playing! The enemies sometimes do get out of the navmesh path if the player steps off the roads. We ran out of time to fix some of these visual bugs. Thanks for the feedback!

I love this game's modeling and world building. The attacks are lovely, but sometimes I feel like they don't actually land on the zombie even though I tried aiming the sword at the zombie.

However, this game is ridiculously hard because the zombies surround you and you can't get out unless if you try to attack all of them and even then, this game doesn't allow me to get out of a really deep hole.

Also, the attack animation sometimes doesn't even play when I try to land an attack.

For me even the basic sword attack missed randomly like 5 out of 10 times. The special abilities locked me in place it was alltogheter a very junky experience. The title was intriguing so I did want to see how the game handled the theme, but I was a bit disappointed.

Anime girl fighting zombies? What is this strangeness. It fit the theme well! I enjoyed the game but the mouse that were floating was a bit frustrating. Well done!

An anime girl fighting against realistic zombies in low-poly environment is... well... it kind of fits the jam topic, but it certainly doesn't help to comprehend the game as a single product. There's nothing bad in using asset store models and effects, but you have to make sure they match - otherwise it really hurts the game. 

Battle system felt clunky and I could really use more explanations on what's going on when I'm levelling up. Am I just prompted to choose another ability, or are the existing abilities getting upgraded like that?

Thank you for the feedback! It is true that low-poly environment should not be used with realistic models but we went for the decision so it fits the theme. As for the combat system, we recommend trying the windows version as the browser version has some visual bugs (also mentioned on the game page). The abilities are there just to add some variety to the gameplay, there is no levelling up; I apologize if it caused some confusion, thank you for playing!

I think you know what worked well and what still needs work.

The cursor not being locked and invisible in a third person action game really made it unfun to play for me :(

If you upload a fixed version before tmrw I will give it another try!

Thank you for the feedback! The cursor lock was not possible as the player has to choose abilities after every stage, it is a design flaw and I apologize if it made the game not fun to play. Thank you for playing though!

I just had to play a game with that title, and it was pretty fun, destroying an entire enemy wave with one special ability felt realy good. I feel like more variaty in enemys cool be cool, but hey its a jam game, you dont have infinite time. But overall, really funny game!

I saw the title and had to play lol (both our games happen to be about girls fighting monsters in strange places funnily enough). I beat the game and tried to jump off the map but there was an invisible wall :(

I enjoyed the animation even though it was a bit weird at some points, and except for the message saying that my enemies were vanquished, nothing else hinted the victory. Kudos to all of the work done within a week though!

The main idea of killing zombies doesn't work very well. Enemies disappear after death, hits don't register well, and there are no hit effects. Also, the animations play strangely (web version). I don't mean to offend, but criticism is also important. Just add some ragdolls, some camera shake, and some effects, and it'll be pretty good.

i did experienced some visual bugs as you mention in the game description as im playing on web browser but spamming the right click feels hilarious as the SFX keeps playing. The character animation feels great but not while attacking probably due to the visual bug also. Overall, good work!
