I gave you my opinions!

Short and sweet game! I like the idea of the different minigames within the dreams and the narrative behind it. The shooting minigame was fun but maybe a little too short and easy. The one sliding on the rope maybe was a little too loud in comparison to everything else. The rest were pretty much alright, but maybe you could try to fine tune the length of some of them to keep the most fun ones going for longer.

Done!

It's a pretty interesting idea! I also thought to do something with gravity for the game jam but then decided against it; i'm glad someone ran with that concenpt and expanded upon it. I had fun with my time playing it but if i had to say anything maybe you could try to make it easier to figure out in which direction to search for the hexagons since the map is pretty big and i endend up being lost for some time. Good job!

Please try this one and let us know if you have feedbacks! https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-15/rate/4313109

Cool game with an interesting presentation and idea. The music was nice until for some reason it stopped working completely, but i fear that's more on itch than on the game itself. The idea of using deduction to solve mysteries is somthing i really appreciate. Some things that could be improved on are the text speed itself for sure but i would mainly allow the player to skip the dialogue alltogheter after they have read it without pause. Keep it up!

It's a horroresque hack and slash, please give it a try!

I unfortunately could not finish it since i suck at puzzle games and directions but i feel like i got the gist of it. The atmosphere and the sfx were the best part for me and honestly i kind of wanted to know what the hell the orb was, i guess i'll never know. For the puzzle aspect i am no expert so i am not sure how to improve on it, but if i had to say i liked more the mine section than the earlier one.

Done! Pretty unique in comparison to other games!

So, first of all, i would say that the art style and the music were the strongest points of the experience. In particular i think i appreciated the music the most, it was very immersive and soothing at times. Now, as far as everything else goes, it's a little undercooked. As an experience it can be pretty interesting but as a game i'm feeling quite conflicted. The act of playing itself was moving through a linear corridor and inspecting a maze which can work quite nice for a story driven almost visual novel esque type game. If someone wants to go in this kind of direction then there's no need to think too much about making the gameplay more engaging, but if you were to do so i would try to make the silent and obscure narrative a little clearer, or at least with some more hints to at least formulate a few theories about what's happening.  All in all, i see the vision! Let's see how it will keep on growing!

Played the game, very funny!

A very cool and charming game! I thing the idea of choosing a dialogue choice for two different scenes was pretty original and engaging. The art style is very cute, it reminds me of a children story book or an animated movie with the silliness and all. My favorite part was when the soldiers randomly started having a disney princess moment while singing and dancing lmao. If i had to say anything, i would have liked more if in the final sequence we got some sort of story explanation for what was actually happening...but i guess the mystery is part of the charm?

Rated and commented!

I like the underling concept of fast paced weird challenges that must be mastered within a short period of time! And the places were surely strange. What i believe is the main problem of the game is the lack of clarity, in particular within the meteors level; i feel like an on screen message to at least direct you towards the goal of the current challenge would help. The teleportation and commands swap were kinda hard at first but fair, it's only the meteors level that felt a little lackluster with not a lot of challenge but a lot of waiting around for something to happen.

The concept is cool and i'm sure there can be even more interesting ideas and mini games!

Left a comment with feedbacks, keep it up!

I echo what the other comments say: it is pretty impressive to do this alone in a single week! It's honestly really amazing to think about it. Talking about the game itself, i used the electric class in the apocalypse map and what i can say is that the game was pretty fun but it got old pretty quickly after the fifth wave. I am not sure if this is because of the mechanics themselves or if it was a little too easy without too much enemy variety to throw you for a loop. I can't speak too much about the assets but the music was pretty good! The one thing i would criticize is the UI not within the survival section but in the spell creation and all. It was pretty overwhelming and even with the lengthy tutorial it still didn't feel that intuitive to me, maybe that's the thing to concentrate on since the idea of custom spells could make the game stand out even more.

I'm sorry to hear that, don't worry about it!

Played your game! Here's ours  https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-15/rate/4313109

Honestly, i am usually not one for puzzle games but i must say that while i was a little confused at first, after realising  the potential of switching to 3D i got way more into it than i thought! The difficulty for me was just right and i can only imagine what kind of puzzles could possibly be born of this idea, keep it up!

Thank you for the feedback! But yeah, music should definitely be one of the points to improve on (pretty easy since we did not have time to create it lol)

Left a comment, it was really good!

A really enjoyable game! It is honestly impressive to have this level of polish in a single week, it certainly is inspirational. For the game itself i really like the art style and the presentation, my favorite thing being the cut in while doing the special move, very satisfying all around! Going around eating cretures never felt this good since Kirby (?). The audio was awesome and the fact that you have a dedicated composer really shows! Very charming!

As far as the gamplay goes, traversing the level was fun, maybe a little too easy for my taste after a while but i understand that maybe these would be the first levels so it's acceptable. I would say that for the platforming section to be even more interesting there's a need for more complex enemies or situation to make you sweat! The combat itself has a very nice feel but my favorite thing all round was the possibility of attacking mid air and bouncing right back in the air for infinite air time, a little bit like Hollow Knight and Silksong's pogo jump!

While the levels itself were fun i could tell how the most polish went into the two boss fights, and i believe that to be the most important part of the experience. The first one was very cool but the second one made me go woooah! The teleporting and slashes really surprised me.

Beyond the level design in the platforming section it is pretty hard for me to think of criticism. One thing i noticed is that maybe the stamina recovery speed was a little too fast? I think it was nearly impossible to deplete it, which means the souls like idea of carefully planning your moves wasn't completely there. Also i'm not sure if it was intentional but the special metere charged even during the cutscenes; i can already imagine the min maxers waiting during dialogue just for it ahah! Overall a very good game!

Don't worry too much about it, the time constraint really is a huge difficulty. Since the horror aspect of the game itself is well done this means that just with a little bit of polishing with the gameplay it would be even more amazing, please keep it up!

Hey guys, more than the ratings themselves we are looking for feedbacks and opinions on our game in order to improve and i am sure many others are. The cats were really chonky. I want to pet all of them. They kept staring at me all the time. I really want to pet them. While it's basically impossible to score the cats were nice.

Heya fellow UE5 devs! I surely understand the struggle with optimization. Anyways, the concept for the game is really interesting and the environment was quite nice. Unfortunetly i was not able to figure out strange behaviors beyond the bleeding eyes but i've never been great with puzzles and logic stuff. In my opinion maybe some bigger hints beyond the journal could help people that get stuck. Also i would have either a pause menu to quit the game or a loss screen when all the bullets have been fired. And one last thing, maybe the game felt a little too silent at time from a sfx perspective; it would really help with the atmosphere to work with that in mind.

You got quite the unique game there, i really enjoyed my time playing it! I actually did not encounter any bugs whatsoever so it went by pretty quickly. The places were indeed strange but what i really liked were the characters and their interactions, it truly felt like the beginning of a 30 hours long jrpg with your weird teammates. The paper filter was kind of an eyesore but the section was short so it's all good. finish the game, i command you!

I really liked your game. Art and music were on point and i also found the theme and setting to be quite nice. The combat was simple but fun and i wouldn't have minded if the final boss fight was even harder but i understand that it would have been quite difficult to give to the goblin king more attacks. Overall very good, i could see myself playing it more given more content. Maybe add a pause menu?

A really fun game, the movement and attacking felt pretty great paired with the sound effects. i played for 6 waves and only after the fourth it started to feel a little repetetive. I liked the different power ups but i guess the most fun were the increase in speed and size. If i had to think about feedbacks, maybe allow the game to be paused and create non linear projectiles since after a while it gets pretty easy. Keep it up and please check our game as well!

Honestly, the idea was there! I managed to reach the fourth level (fun fact you can jump on top of a pillar in the third and attack from safety the enemies, probably the most fun thing i did) but then it became too overwhelming to fight back.  I am not entirely sure what the platforms were for in the fourth level. During my first playthrough i did not realise that enemies dropped power ups, maybe they could stay in the stage for a little longer before disappearing?
Since there's no dodge or guard button maybe you could try to allow attacking while moving, check out my game as well since it's a hack and slash too!

Cool art style and really good sounds, the idea of searching feels quite fun. The only real problem is that i got completely stuck at one point in the first level where it felt like no matter how late i was jumping i could still not reach the other side. I tried basically everything, even searching for other routes or invisible platforms in the middle but it all came short. It was still pretty fun until that point so keep it up!

I tried my best to complete the game fully before giving feedback but i can't tell if i was missing something but in the second level even after repairing everything i could not leave. I really liked the audio, both the music and the jumpscare. I played through the first level fairly smoothly and since i don't usually play horror games it was pretty scary! The png monster was quite goofy but it did the job well.

After playing quite a bit the second level a few things didn't really click with me. First of all the trash can; i thought it was supposed to hide you but once you are spotted you can't use it (understandably so) but sometimes while not being spotted the monster still managed to get me. While inside the bin you can't see outside and that's fine, but you also can't hear the monster since it doesn't have foosteps which made it less useful for strategizing and more random. After being spotted by the enemy the only thing i managed to do to avoid defeat was to rush back to the beginning of the level which became a little tiring after a while. One last thing i would reccomend is to display the total number of generators to repair and how many were already completed since i sometimes wondered if i didn't catch them or something was wrong. At the end i could not complete the second level so maybe that's the case.

All in all i think that the horror component is very well done but the gameplay is still a little undercooked. I hope i didn't come off too harsh but i wrote extensive feedback because this is the kind of thing i would like to hear for my own game, getting into details to become better, and i am sure you will.
