Interesting declination of the concept of game over!
Pretty simple, although the time rewind mechanic feels a little off since basically all levels only have a “visual” trap component to them, and quickly restarting the level would have the same impact (and be faster)

Cool Concept
Liked playing it very much.

Wanna talk about the future
Do rate my game as well.
Cool game, with great pixelart, beautiful moving background and awesome colors! I really like just looking at this game and I like the rewind mechanics. What could be improved is: removing invisible walls, correct collission (I think you receive damage barely touching the spikes )
Oh my dreams come true... I finally get to play as a Terraria slime XD
It was fun to play, and the pixel art background looks gorgeous. Good job :)
Hey, really liked the asthetics! Did you make the art?
Some tips to improve:
- makes the rewind a bit faster (if I take too long or go through a lot of tries the rewind is really long to take me back to action)
- reduce the hazard's trigger size (if I barely touch the spikes I already die)
- avoid invisible walls
- makes the slime a little more charismatic (maybe adding eyes and month?) he's lifeless imo
Besides that I really liked and had a good time playing it, good job!
This was really well done. It looks great, it has a banger of a tune, and the rewind feature is really impressive. This is set up to be a really fun game. Unfortunately I wasn't able to enjoy the game as much as I wanted because I found the double jump rather inconsistent and hard to pull off. I was never able to get a feel for it. And so when I would die I would have to watch a long replay of me fumbling up the double jump just to restart. I wish the restart was more instant. But other than that I really enjoyed this game.
This was a lot of fun! Great job! (Nice easter eggs, by the way. :P)
Love the rewind idea! Ours is very similar themed :D If I had one criticism it would be that the visuals could use a little polish and this could be a very good game! The music is lovely as well! - also, clever name :D
I liked the time loop when you died, and the fact that you always found new hidden traps which you could avoid next round! As cphipson said the ending was clever as well! Good job :)
Nice funny game, good job! Hidden traps reminded of that cruel Cat Mario game, but this one is much more friendly :)
I actually will play the game later again, because I liked it a lot! You made a really good job of introducing new mechanics and adding something new to each level.
I would recommend to make the slime more... slimish? Make him wiggle and change the form even more. And also, the rewind ability was on point, but I would really like to stop the rewind at any time, because otherwise, it seems as simply restarting the level. But hey, overall the game is cool, continue working on it!
Nice work on getting the game done, I played it all the way through but I'm not sure when I was meant to use the rewind mechanic. I only needed it once I was already dead at which point the game rewound anyway! Do you use Cinemachine already? A "look ahead" movement and soft zones to polish the camera work will make it feel heaps nicer and they're easy to do with Cinemachine!
With your parallax, you've got your values around the wrong way. The further away the object is the slower it should move. In your case your mountains in the background are the fastest moving object and they should be the slowest (minus the sky, clouds, etc).
I appreciate the feedback!
I haven't taken a look at Cinemachine yet, although I have heard it is quite powerful. This is my first project that I have finished, so I really appreciate your input, I had a weird time with the parallax, no matter how I changed the values for the parallax it never quite felt right, I guess a rework is in order!
