How tf do u even do a game jam game with 48 people?????

Developer

Lots of coordination by breaking developers into departments, make sure to check the credits list to get an idea!

Developer(+2)

It was chaotic but also had a lot of organisation from the beginning. The worst part was how many great bits people had worked on fell through the gaps and didn't make it to the final build. Hopefully we'll do a later version with all the other features added. I made a dev log about how we did it if you're interested!

Impresive organizational team work, game feels like a walk in the park, its smooth and gets you in a relaxing atmosphere. Visuals are really beautiful.

Some characters do also sink in the terrain.

This has a nice, relaxing, vibe!

Simple gameplay and concept but relaxing with nice visuals

I feel this is what dog's paradise feel like! good job :)

The game concept and art are amazing! The game does lag a lot in the web version, maybe due to number of assets. I encountered a game-breaking bug where I fell off the rocky area and kept falling down, so I couldn't really finish the game. The music was well made and I just enjoyed barking at the NPCs !

Developer

The web builds are currently optimized for Chrome, unfortunately Unity 6's WebGL just does not run as performant on browsers as we would like. It definitely isn't an asset or shader issue on our side, just how Unity handles 3D rendering in browsers.

For future development we will move to a download only option, especially if we release on Steam!

Nice game very good looking, with such big team you created something very wonderfull.

You have to tell me how someone can get like over 100 ?? I just got 71 and I didn't see much left anymore.

I had some problems with the controls the camera was sometimes very weird in the rocky area, and the npc's where going into the ground.

Overall a relaxing game if there was no time! I had fun!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for reviewing :). The camera clipping is an example of the problems with such a large team, everyone knew it was a problem but assumed someone else was responsible for the camera. And so it never got fixed

Excelent game! I was curious about what a more than 50 people team could do, I didn't get disappointed, you guys made a really great job! I don't know there are people with more than 100 points lol, I tried but only could do 76.

Developer(+1)

Much appreciated! Management did a very good job, and who knows, maybe next year we’ll have 100! Lol

This was a very fun experience. The music and sound effects were very well done. The art style is really cool as well. Impressive how many people contributed to this game. like how you incorporated the biscuit theme with dog biscuits. I'm not entirely sure what I am risking. All in all a fun experience, would love to see more.

Developer

You broke away from your owner to gorge yourself on biscuits, which we would consider "risking it for the biscuit". Glad you liked it!

That makes sense! Again, well done! :)

Very gorgeous game! It was fun, and I love the leaderboard! We were thinking about that for ours but we are still learning haha.

Developer

Thanks for reviewing! Shout out to Generalisk for implementing the leaderboard backend. It's done using Unity Leaderboards which are free at the moment

A very polished game! The controls felt good and the environment was good as well! I am not sure how the game fits the theme but it's a nice game regardless! Good job to all 48 members!

Developer

The game fits the theme because you have a limited amount of time to get biscuits -- you can either take a safe route or try to platform / take shortcuts and risk missing biscuits for bigger rewards. When the full game releases we plan on greatly increasing the risk/reward options especially since only around 20% of the game is in this demo.

oh this game is cute and well made the controls feel so good to use and the sounds are very satisfying great job (also how did 48 people work on one game just a little side question) Keep up the good work😃👍

Developer

Hmm, I wonder...

Developer(+1)

Thanks for reviewing! It was quiet a feat seeing 50 odd people getting organised! I made a devlog of what it was like if you're still interested. (ps love the profile pic, I'm a big fan of bluey)

Submitted(+2)

Wow i just watched the video that's crazy great job, i love the art and the feel of the game is so well done, I'm personally more of and artsy guy and i try to make my games look as good as i can so my coding ends up a mess so its fun watching the programmers point of view. Great video and keep up the great work (ps bluey is the best) 😁

Omg that is the best and cutest doggo ever! Also wow this is basically a finished game! I quite enjoyed it, not sure where the risk factor was other than the premise. The dog movement was stiff and tanky unfortunately but other than that I enjoyed the graphics and the concept! (Also the game has multiple languages like what??)

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much, we all love Goma too! We might just release a merchandise line for him soon, so keep your eyes peeled!

Visuals are good, really fun to play. It stutters  while sprints, some npc's go inside floor but overall cute game. ^^

ME again!  I downloaded it and tried on my PC.  When I went to top dogs... it crashed on.   When I started the game and barked, it crashed on me.  Not sure why,... I saw a streamer play the game just fine.  It looks beautiful and fun to play but I haven't been able to on mac and PC.  If you want more info to try and debug let me know.   I'll wait to rate it until I get to play it.

Developer(+1)

We put this on our watch/bug list to address. Thank you for letting us know. We'll be sure to reach out if we need further information.

Damn ALMOST 30 PEOPLE??? Really cool game the art is cool and the game overall is cute, but i wish the dogs control was a bit more non slippery, and the free asssets did clash abit, but other than that really good game!

Developer

Almost 70*, we had 23 people who had to drop out before working so we had to cycle in new devs.
