Ranked from 41 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

How does the game fit the theme?
The theme “Risk it for the Biscuit” is literal here: the prize is biscuits, but you’ll need to take bold risks to grab them without being caught.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
None. Our goal with this project was to highlight the skills of each individual team member, so all, art, music and code were created from scratch during the jam.

How many people worked on the game?
4

Nice job on the stealth theme! Even though the AI got a little confused at times, it still took me several tries to beat, which kept things fun.
It might feel a bit over-ambitious, but honestly that’s exactly what game jams are about hehe :)

Interesting concept, the game needs some polish visually as it was hard to understand what were the cookies. Other than that it was nice!

Really nice game cheers!

Very easy to get hooked on this game, simple to understand yet challenging! It's great that you can learn how the AI works and use it to your advantage. Also love the effort put into the sound design.

The game is well-produced, with excellent audio, cool mechanics, and it definitely fits the theme well.

As a suggestion, I'd say to include W, A, S, and D as movement keys as well.

I'm sure this game has potential, and I was pleased to see in the page description that you plan to continue updating it after the jam! Great job!

Short and sweet! the AI kinda got stuck in a loop after finding me in the kitchen. Great job btw! Ginny proud of you!!!

It's an exciting game and quite difficult. It would have been nice if all of the art had been included and the game still needs some polish. Other than that I had a lot of fun playing!

Great minds think alike! We share a passion for stealth and cookies.

I liked the mechanics and top down view, a nice  way to take advantage of lighting. I would recommend to use different shapes for the type of cookie you want to grab so is easier to understand the risk reward.

Fun little stealth game with a nice soundtrack and pleasant sound effects.

I’m not sure, but it seems there is an issue with the build now as besides the carpets there is not art in the game like you can see on the screenshots, just placeholder props.

This is a charming little stealth game, and I appreciated the choice to keep collecting more cookies or complete the level - it's a solid execution on the theme. There's some little UI glitches here & there, but nothing stopping the enjoyment of the game. The guard behavior is a little unpredictable, and in that sense the game is somewhat tough. But it makes for a tense experience. Shout out to these devs for a solid entry! And respect for using Godot - makes me stoked for using Godot myself. Check out my game if you want to see a totally different example of a Godot game... Cheers!

I liked the concept and definitely felt the risk! I'd have liked a slightly more comfortable set of control keys as it was hard enough to avoid the watchers. Graphics were a bit under-developed but the BG music was kinda nice. Well done and good luck in the jam

Wow, a lot of cool systems in the game. As you stated in your page it needs a little bit of smoothing on the rough edges, but it's an impressive entry. Looking forward to the post jam version, should it happen. The sound design was fun.

Keep it up!

Just a Little Bit of polishing Needed And This Game Would Be More Fire!!

The game's core concept is really good, just needs some more polishing and some assets

These police are really strong; if you're not careful, you'll get caught. The game is really fun and very well-designed. I hope there will be more levels to play. The graphics are a bit rough

Nice job on the stealth theme! There were a few times the AI got confused, but it still took me several tries to beat. Judging from the screenshots, you look like you had some really cool visuals planned but maybe ran into time or scope for the jam.

It was really just a case of running out of time between work and everything else, and maybe being a bit over-ambitious. But honestly, that’s the point of game jams, using the time to learn, experiment, and try new things. The polish can always come later.

We’ve already set up a post-jam project page, and the plan is to keep momentum going with an update each week.

Cool concept! I thought the visual style was not bad, even though it seems like you had some really cool visual ideas, as you show in the screenshots for the game. I think with a few fixes to the enemy AI and visuals like you show in the screenshots, this would be a pretty cool game!

Nice job! The detection works really well, though a one point the guards got stuck in a search pattern I think. With some artwork, like you have in the screenshots it'll be a great little game!

Loved this game style back in highschool, playing in newgrounds, miniclip and kongreagete.
