A challenging and enjoyable turn based game, I love the ability to mould the board to your advantage. My one suggestion is being able to move multiple times without having to end your turn may make the gameplay smoother once you've got the crown and there's no one left to fight. Looking forward to more levels if you add any.

I love the concept of scavenging, crafting and selling your wares, however the UI for these was often unclear or awkward.

Scavenging:

I’m unsure if it was simply weirdly scaled or if there were some key details missing. Are the exploring symbols lined down the left side meant to have descriptions next to them? If you're meant to work out what they do yourself, making you choose 3 at once will make it difficult to learn.

Crafting:

The lack of feedback in the crafting bench left me unsure if I was doing anything correctly. I had no indication if I was actually making anything until I made the paper boat (after a lot of different tries) and it was added to the inventory.

Selling:

The selling mechanic can be made easier by giving the player a base price of a starter object to sell e.g. a tin of food sells for x, so the player knows what ball park to start their pricing at.

The art, mechanics and even sound effects are great, it just needs a bit more time to be user friendly. If you return to this after the jam I'm sure it will be a hit.

A great puzzle game that makes you think, would happily play a few more levels. My only criticism is that on my first attempt the east and west colours were two similar shades of green which could be made clearer.

Nice puzzle game with some creative ideas, it will be great to see some more levels of this. It did take me a few attempts to work out how the roots needed to be drawn as I tried going to the cup of water and only a single line would show, but I see you're working on a fix for this already.

Love the use of gravity mechanics and would like to see more levels that expand upon it. Sound effects or a visual indicator other than the health bar would be great to show when the player loses health.

Love the artwork for this game and the random set of power ups you get which make you change up your strategy each round.

Ascending the floors adds a great feeling of progression rather than simply trying to increase your monetary worth, a good take on the genre.

The suspense is very effective, great risk/reward both pushing the player to want to progress through the pyramid and also to risk their luck opening just one more chest on their way.

Great climbing mechanics in this game, the terrain/snake length makes you think differently as you progress. Love the extra details you've added like the family narrative added to the beginning.

Well done for your first game jam, this was great to play!

Love the art style/colour palette for this and the range of item effects that slowly get added.

Love the concept, the execution and the unique personality you've given it. Some really good level design with the tutorial, forcing the player to upgrade to move forwards and how the minerals are spread across the level.

The first diamond I found was also the first time my pack was too full to carry anything else ...

Both uncomfortable and fun to play, can’t say I was expecting that! One of the most unique games I’ve seen so far. Great work!

Very easy to get hooked on this game, simple to understand yet challenging! It's great that you can learn how the AI works and use it to your advantage. Also love the effort put into the sound design.

You got a real good balance of complexity here, I’m gonna be replaying this one.
