Awesome game, very addictive and fun. Perfect balance of punishing player's greed and rewarding their skill.

Really fun game! Love the visuals and the sfx are well chosen.

Fits the theme well and plays a simple concept in an interesting way! Interesting items, and I appreciate the leeway on the perfect hide threshold. Though, perhaps it's just me, but if feels like on rare occasions the leeway on the dragon spotting you is a bit inconsistent - sometimes I can afford to stay unhidden a touch longer and sometimes I feel like I should have hit a perfect but instead I get burnt. It's quite rare, but might be a frame delta-time thing? Or perhaps I'm just imagining things haha. Also, on rare occasions the dragon will sleep with their eyes open! (the nose bubble is still there, but I think if it opens its eyes right at the end of a night, the next night they're still open?) Also I didn't realise the first few runs that you could steal from the pile, I thought only the pouches were robbable, no wonder I couldn't make my debt; but after a few goes I got pretty far!

Regardless of those small nitpicks, super interesting implementation, and again I'm a big fan of the art.  Would be nice to see it expanded to have a proper ending or more interesting day events or items.

Great work!

10/10 for matching the theme. Same for keeping the scope - simple yet brilliant game loop. The 2nd dept was too much for me, but I enjoyed every minute playing.

This is a great concept brought to life! The mechanisms are simple yet very snappy, making the gameplay smooth. The theme was really well implemented, making me want to risk getting more gold every time!

Thought I was gonna get further but the day got me, cool concept!

You made a nice work, I like the pixel art in your game. Congrats

Brilliant idea that fits the theme perfectly. Well executed as well. I found my self far to greedy, which is fun in a game like this. Really well done.

I love goblins, I love dragons, glad I came across this one lol :) it was fun! You managed to juice up the perfect hide enough that it was quite satisfying, which I think is why I kept playing long after I stopped seeing new things and was just amassing a rat army. I think some sound effects for the dragon would’ve gone a long way, but nice work!

super cute game, loved the idea! My only nitpick is there should be more feedback when the dragon's about to wake up, otherwise great job!

Stupid stupid game. I loved it. Spent much more time on this than I thought I would. It's a fun idea and very well put together with excellent art. Very unforgiving, but I ended up making the second payment by like 5 gold which felt good. Thanks for the hint about the scavenger ring 😅

Loved the theme, the art as well!!

Very innovative gameplay and nicely integrated with the theme! Gives a 'oh, it's a box!' vibes, haha!

Game is HARD! I could only get to the second fee extortion stage,. haha!

With a bit of tweaks in the balance I see this as a full relase!! Great entry! 💪😊✨

I really liked this game. The art is awesome, there's a good reward system for perfects, and the rats are great little helpers. It's one of the games that left me thinking about it again after it was rated. Nice job!

I like the look of the game and the idea of red light green light. Would be cool to see it as a multiplayer game in that regard, instead of having the tax collector arbitrarily ending the game. Had made other comments but then I realized how to actually play the game haha Nicely done!

Super cool entry! Fits the theme perfectly, is overall maybe a little unbalanced to a point where you might get an insane amount of upgrades and can just kind of out scale the cost of things, though that's also kind of the fun thing about it. I'd say overall, really great job, this is really neat!

Loved this one. Fits the game jam's theme perfectly!

I bought so many rats that the upgrade list doesn't fit on the screen.
