I am absolutely horrible at rhythm games, so I had some difficulty not dying, though that's a personal thing, besides that I really liked the music, and the art was also nice! Only point of feedback I'd give is that I think it'd be nice if the notes that you have to hold actually have like the hold bar thingie that other rhythm games have, as I found it a bit hard right now. But except for that, nice job!

While it's not usually my type of game, this was honestly a fun experience, very polished and overall mostly well balanced besides some small tweaks that could've helped in my opinion. I wasn't the biggest fan of the controls, but that's just a personal thing. I liked that there were puzzles, multiple different enemies types, and skills, etc. Lots of content for only 4 days all on your own, music is also nice, great job!
Really unique idea, loved it! The art is basic but does what it needs to. Only point of feedback I'd give is just some general polish, QOL improvements, and a bit of a better explanation for how temporary die work and how to make them permanent. Other than that, I really enjoyed this game, very creative and some great music/SFX as well! Great job!
I very much like the idea where the beer makes you faster but also kind of blurs the screen, nice way of using the theme! I'd say my main points of feedback would be that I felt like the movement felt a bit like obstructed sometimes, even without beer I was often struggling to actually get to the place where the button needs to be pressed. I also didn't know I didn't have to actually press the button myself when I got to it, finding that out did make that part a bit easier. Besides these things I overall do think this is a really nice entry, art is amazing, and I really enjoyed the music/SFX as well!
Very simple but nice idea. My main feedback would be a bit more explanation as to what everything does, as I wasn't aware of the red bull's restoring energy so I tried dodging them all as well. A bit more polish in general would've added a lot I think. However besides those things, I think this is a really cool small game, art is amazing, and the music/SXF were also good, nice job!
Honestly pretty cool golf game! Main points of feedback I'd give is a little more polish to the main mechanic, because in my opinion doing a close range shot is very difficult, and I also got stuck against a wall a couple times. Other than that I did really enjoy the main gameplay and music! Good job!
Very much liked the base gameplay and idea! My main points of feedback would be that some more feedback for hitting a note correctly would be nice, like an effect, and having it disappear when you hit it. Other than that, I feel like some more general polish would've added a lot, however besides that I think this is a super cool entry! Really neat that you have a leaderboard as well! I feel like the improvising mechanic was a bit too punishing, but that might just be a skill issue on my end, either way, music was really good as well, great job!
I very much like the idea and general concept, but I personally feel like the game needed more polish/iteration. Because right now it feels way too difficult, I also think a bit more user feedback here and there would've helped the game a lot. However I still enjoy the core idea and concept of the game!
Super cool game! Very much enjoyed the movement, most of the combat, and the reloading mechanic was a really nice touch. Having a boss in there is a very good addition and adds a ton to the game in my opinion. The game also seemed quite well polished, music/SFX were great, and the art was amazing! Overall I'd say really nice job, only point of feedback I'd give is that the game needs some balancing for certain weapons, and a bit of a better explanation for the heat mechanic. It would also be nice to be able to click the buttons that show up at the end of a room to increase heat. Other than that, really good entry!
Honestly a super fun concept! The feedback I'd give mainly is to have some different way of easier accessing the recipe book (I saw it mentioned in other comments as well, but just thought I'd confirm it as well), other than that I feel like a bit more polish like balancing, etc. would've elevated the game a lot. However, besides those things, I actually had fun playing the game and think the idea is really cool, the art and music/SFX were also really cute! And I loved that the tower visuals actually changed depending on the health! Nice entry!
Really cool idea of having to combine walking and greeting with the minigames. However I felt like the movement needed more polish and same goes for the minigames, I felt like a small tutorial for the minigames would've helped a lot, as the game feels way too difficult right now. However other than that, the art was also great, and the concept itself is very unique!
Very cool idea to not show the score, and then having to decide between continuing or cashing in your score. Some feedback I have would be that:
- Some items' effects weren't entirely clear to me
- I feel like the game would've gained a ton by having a bit more polish like the difficulty scaling a bit better, some effects, ect.
- Some more player feedback
However, besides those things, I actually really like the idea, and the fact that there's upgrades and stuff like that, also loved the fact that you have a leaderboard, that's super cool!
Super cool idea, we did a boss rush as well, so really cool to see a submission with something similar! Main point of feedback I'd give is that the game feels a bit too difficult right now, I feel like a parry or something to allow you to avoid damage like a dash or something would've helped a lot with that, as it feels a bit impossible to beat right now in my opinion. Other than that, I really like the moveset for the boss, the art is great, the soundtrack was a banger, great stuff!
Honestly pretty cool overall, my main feedback would be that the game needs some more polish, like for example it's a bit confusing to constantly be like switching between scenes, without actually doing that yourself. Other than that some general polish could've elevated this game a lot I think. However, I still really like the idea of making it a visual novel, and both the art and music are also great!
Pretty cool idea to have it be an endless runner, the story is also a nice touch. My main feedback would be that the game needs some more polish in my opinion, as I felt like the movement felt a bit off, and some stuff wasn't always clear to me. Other than that though, really liked the art, music and SFX were also great, and nice concept!
Very fun concept and a great choice of assets. I feel like it was a bit too easy to get stuck though personally, because if you ever get cornered by an enemies, you're kind of screwed, I think making it so the dash phases you through enemies would've helped, however other than that, overall nice entry!
I liked the idea of the theme being used as internet cookies, nice take on it! Some points of feedback I'd say would be that the game needs some rebalancing, as the final boss felt really hard. In general the game needed some more polish in my opinion like player feedback or some type of visuals for the fight that was going on in some way. Besides that, still a nice entry, and I liked the fact that you could drink the milk and then throw the glass as an attack, nice touch!
Really cool idea with a ton of fun of great things to place. However my main points of feedback are that a bit more polish in general could've added a lot I think personally, and there's also a bug where if you buy a second thing before placing the first, you will only be able to place the one you bought last. However other than that the art is cute, SFX fit well and it's a neat idea!
Really loved the graphics, very cute. However my main point of feedback would be the perspective, because it's currently very challenging to see where your character is going and what they will/won't be hitting, as such I kept missing the biscuits or colliding with stuff I thought I wouldn't hit. However, other than the perspective, I think this is a really cool entry, I really enjoyed the movement, it felt good in my opinion, and the theme is also incorporated well, and the music was also great, liked it!
I really love this! Super cool, only downside for me was that I got softlocked after a certain fight, that the game felt a little too easy, and that some more user feedback like particles and some SFX would have been cool. However other than that, this is really nice, very unique gameplay and usage of the theme, and great music and art, really nice job!
Thanks a lot for the feedback, very much appreciated! I agree with the movement not being polished enough so that it feels fluid and good to play, we unfortunately ran out of time. As the theme is an idiom, we didn't want to use it in a literaly way. As such we decided to go for that the player is risking their life in pursuit of love, instead of anything being related to a literal biscuit.
The visuals are pretty cool, I kinda like the retro-ish look! Main point of feedback I'd give is just some more polishing to the gameplay/ in general. Also, I think it could be cool for the white cubes to have a button to pick them up, because I picked some up on accidents while running from enemies. However, overall cool entry, and the gun felt quite satisfying, good stuff!
Really nice to have a 2.5D look in here, dope! Some feedback I'd give is that the movement feels a bit too slippery in my opinion, even when you're walking without the bag, and I was also a bit confused on how progression worked. Though again, really cool idea, as well with the Physics, and some nice soothing music!
This is a really great entry, very unique and good use of the theme, with some genuinely addicting gameplay. My point of feedback would be that the game feels a bit too slow, and that having some kind of meaningful permanent (as in permanent per run) upgrades would be super dope. However, this is really cool either way and I really enjoyed it!
Really cool and unique entry to the jam, absolutely loved that there were multiple endings, that's great! Only thing I would say is that the minigames were very easy, though that's just a small nitpick. Music and art were cute, and then also the complete opposite at times, so that's great. Good stuff!
Really cool usage of the theme, love that. What I would mainly give as feedback is some general polish could have elevated the game a lot, such as that it's very easy to get lost in the hallways/rooms, as there's not anything to use to like know where you are. Other than that, BiscuitFace scared the crap out of me once, so I'd say the horror element is very well done, great stuff!
Really loved the art and music! I feel like the game could have benefitted from some more polish and more features in general, but I still played for a good bit, and enjoyed it, the upgrades like adding an extra slot were also a very nice addition, and in general the game has a cool usage for the theme!
Really like the concept of the cookie being like your actual means of attacks, very cool. Though I did have some small performance issues occasionally, and I felt like the combat/game could use more polish in general. However, really like the concept, art was really great, and I also thought it was a really nice touch to have the upgrades be a wheel to spin!
