The turret puzzles are also very nice, you really have to be aware of the surroundings! A game that requires skills, aim and attention! good job on this one! ๐ช๐ช

Nice work with the tutorial! That kickstarted me right away ๐!The early game works very well and there is a nice strategy to it! I get that the score adapts in response to the hazard cards, but that's basically my only feedback on the game...
By the mid to late game, the lowering score makes it worth play all the cards on 'blind' to win in the first or second draw, therefore bypassing the token and flip mechanic .. by my 3rd 'x' row of plays, the goal was so low, that I could just play my single visible card without flipping anything else and win the round.
Other than that, I think a few polishing and quality of life tweaks will bring this game to the next level! (I think it would be nice to visually represent the stages we are in... I miskcliked and skipped some steps more often than I can admit, haha)
Overall, great visuals, great music and sound effects, I really wish for you to keep working on this one and bring this to a full release! Loved the concept!

This was such a great experience! As an artist myself I'm in LOVE with the artstyle! The game is well polished, the story is also very well integrated! Made me super curious about the world you guys built! The food timer adds a lot of stakes to it and I felt really bad when I guessed wrong and lost one of the goat kids... haha

Yeah, there were still some bugs with this release, since I prioritized having things 'existing' and then polished, but they'll be fixed by the time I'm allowed to update here... ๐

This is such a well polished cozy game! Love the art and music! the funny descriptions on the Fishpedia are great as well, haha! Took me a couple throws to figure how to get the most of my throws, but then I was swimming in fish.. haha! Love that the bait is a biscuit! nice little touch! Super smooth experience! This is such a great entry! Loved everything about it! Visuals are great, pixel art chef's kiss! the audio, OMG, the music and sound effects are very fitting and addictive!!
The streak mechanic is also very nice!
I love how the game favors focus , risk and positioning, so you can finish the egg sacs fast and then make a run for it!
The power ups are really nice too, some of them being a double edge sword! The loan mechanic sounds on par with greedy space corporations hahaha!
So much depth in this! Would LOVE to see as a full release!

I really enjoyed this entry! After a few rolls I got how the gameplay was supposed to be played and went to risk away my life!! I really liked that you have to strategise when to spend gold and your rerolls in order to win! the odds are well balanced as well and the gambling aspect of it is just as much fun!
Visuals are top as well! The eerie atmosphere gives more stakes to the gameplay!

The fire turret is actually a 3D model I sculpted a while ago and animated in Blender for this jam. Then I passed it through a pixel art shader, so I could have 4 direction animations without too much manual drawing...

And yeah, the blue slime was a last minute addition at the very last hours of the jam, so I wasn't able to polish them the way I wanted, so the "after scream" still lingers there, haha! But I'm working on a small update to fix these minor bugs...
The rock spell too isn't in good shape, haha! but it will 'rock' later ๐๐
OMG, I LOVED this! I don't get why it doesn't have more ratings! I'm biased because I LOVE broccoli and this game also reminds me of 'Pump it up' machine which I used to destroy my legs when I was younger.. haha
The art fits the vibes, the layout /coomposition is also great, the two types of notes are well explained! Gameplay feels smooth too! Great game design considering it's a first for you guys!
