I'm in love with the layout here! It oozes style while remaining very readable.

thanks for the kind words!

Reeeally slick design! Nice illustrationds, great layout and I love illustrated cutaway map.  Just super impressive, visually.

For play, I find parts of this confusing, or wished elements interacted with each other more. But it's very imaginative, and there's a lot going on here. Like, there are all these ghosts, but I'm not sure what players would DO with them.

I love "a jewel hewn from the souls of 1000 thieves."

thanks for the kind words!! After reading other's submissions I definitely see lots of room for improvement with my writing and adventure set-up, appreciate the feedback!

On top of a great backstory and location, this adventure is just brilliantly designed and illustrated! Very well-done!

I very much like the unique Disney fairy-tale mood of this, I can see the standing on a distant hill, alluring travelers with its clean colors and lush surrounding lawn.

The map and artwork are really great, and help sell the tone, very much a testament to how design and illustration can be integral to a module and not just veneer.

Developer

thanks for the kind words!! It was a lot of fun combining the illustration & text, mood and tone were big factors when making the adventure

Like Appendix N by way of Theme Park design. A very unique design filled with some fun ideas, I like the map especially.

Feeling the ghosts of Mary Blair & Rolly Crump in the top-notch look.  Not sure if this is correct but in my head canon Gileroy is invisible and the "Dinning Hall" is noisy like a din (no sound muffling).  Very flavorful, nice vocabulary, cool ideas.

Developer

Thanks, I was drawing on some Mary Blair influences, Rolly Crump is a new name to me, I will have to check him out.  And yes, I definitely didn't run out of time and forget to put in Gileroy's portrait . . .  I do like the idea that he's invisible though ;)

Ohhh I am obsessed with this. Layout and art is absolutely killer and I love that this place can just appear out of nowhere for the party to check out. Saving this to run for my friends, great job!

Developer

thanks! hope your friends enjoy the adventure!

The design and art are beautiful, and the secret bestiary is not only innovative but also very interesting.

This is absolutely gorgeous. Just really top notch colour, design, and illustration.

Wow this is superb! Your layout and artwork really supports the text. Flows super naturally, feels seamless, etc. Very very cool.

While I don't feel this is very close to the spirit of Appendix N, it is an absolutely beautiful piece of art. The gentle dreamy vibe is lovely and a contrast with a lot of the grim dark stuff I've read so far. Great stuff.

I like the castle map and art style a lot. The concise area descriptions give a lot to work with, too.

A top contender for sure! And I think it matches the Appx. N via BX D&D, with its inclusion of titles such as The Black Cauldron. Also, Hydra Chandelier- love it.

I love how the layout immediately engages you and gives you a consistent theme throughout. I enjoy the details like the castle turret having a border and the items with small pictures. Thematically very cohesive and a fun one to read!

Great layout and artwork with a fun, whimsical feel. I love the character designs as well and see them becoming well loved NPCs.

Man this one looks fun.

I love the layout and the fairy tale approach! Clear map, gorgeous assets, short and on point writing! One of the most beautiful modules I've read so far from this jam.

Truly gorgeous, although the aesthetic is more Golden Age of Disney (and amazing!) than what I'd associated with Appendix N. (We need a fairy tale RPG jam sometime soon.) The layout is top-notch as well.

I'm not quite sure I understand a statue that speaks in riddles and wants to also play Liar's Dice. That feels like it's doing more things than I can get my head around.

And a grand piano mimic is a great visual. So easy to see it chomping down on a player character sitting down to play.

I like that the NPCs have lives/unlives of their own, like the ghosts playing a game of Charades.

This is really great stuff.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Totally agree, I think I tried to put too much into some of the rooms and probably needed to scale back like with the statue. And yes, there definitely needs to be a fairy tale RPG jam, that would be so good!

love this! The art and aesthetic is giving Disney's Villainous for me and really brings it all together. Also the Valet's Slippers are brilliant 👏

The presentation of this adventure is off the charts! My favorite bit was the Valet Shoes haha, what a cool magic item!
