This game looks very complex, wow. One note though, at first I spawned with upside down camera and it wa confusing

Developer

Thanks and yea, ran out of time to make the mouse look boundaries. Still glad you enjoyed it all the same, :3

It would be cool if there was more to craft. Especially involving sand. Otherwise nice job

Developer(+1)

Yea, ran out of time, glad you liked it though, :3

It's always nice to see someone take on the extra challenge to build 3D games. After I got past figuring out the interaction basics I had a good time with it. Crafting mechanics are pretty solid and are actually quite fun. Given the fact that you went for 3D instead of 2D, I'd say graphics were pretty good too. Everything made sense and was easily identifiable.

Not bad for a first 3D game, specially due to the time constraints. Nice job.

Developer

Thanks glad you liked it, :D

It was a nice 3D experiment, thanks for the submission !

I had fun with extractor generating stack of sand to infinity or making a big convey, it was fun. It is a great sandbox mode and of course it needs to be polished but for your first 3D game, it is a good job !

Developer

Glad you liked it, i played yours too, it was freakishly fun, :D

I loved this game, I'm an engineer student, so it got my attention hehe

But I think you could explore the theme further, like half an hour and then everything you made disappear, is quite boring, maybe when the world expires in the next one, depending on your progress, you unlock more items and resources, that would be more interesting.

Anyway, good work! I like it

Developer(+1)

Lol, glad you liked it bud, yea, i did what i could but doing stuff with such a time constraints was difficult since im still new to 3D, XD

Pry gonna end up cannibalizing this into some more refined later on.

Anywho, thanks for playing bud, :D

I think this is a surprisingly fun little game to play. Even though the amount of content is limited and the controls are a little funky at times, I found myself playing the game for almost 30 minutes. There is something interesting about making a contraption and watching the items go through a system of  conveyer belts.

Developer(+1)

Lol, thanks, glad you liked it! Imma check your submission out aswell, looks super cute, :3

Submitted(+1)

Really good game considering the time limit!

Crafting and playing objects works really well, I really like how the conveyor belts work, its quite fitting the aesthetic!

You'll absolutely need to make some quality of life changes like how you select the hotbar slots and how you move Items from the inventory into your hotbar.

The automation has something so oddly satisfying that I kept playing after I crafted everything just to watch the machines produce and the belts deliver it straight into my inventory.

Great job!

Developer(+1)

Lol, glad you liked it bud, and yea, i have a bit of ways to go, but i think i'll cannibalize this project into a kinkier more interesting resource management/crafting game later.

I also played yours, it was hecka good for your first attempt at a jam and programming and what not, nicely done, :D!

Submitted(+1)

You might want to mention that you need to click the inventory item and then the hotbar button to equip the item. It took me a long time to figure that out.

Developer

good idea, will be adding it to the game desc now, :3

Submitted(+1)

Such a great idea, it look like you really put a lot of effort to it, hope to see this game with little more work.

Developer

Thanks, :D!

I liked the prototype and also saw potential in it. There is no need to give excuses for the development state your prototype currently is in, like you do in your game description. ;-) Everyone here understands, how time consuming gamedev can be; especially when attempting such a complex topic as 3D factory/automation management. Keep up the good work and do not feel discouraged, if you originally aimed much higher for your jam submission.

Developer

Thanks, i may not have gotten everything i wanted built into the game but i learned a heck of a lot that i can re use later, if nothing else i now have some new skill, ideas and better grasp of 3D game deving and coding.

I played your game, it's simple but fun as heck and surprisingly in depth for what it may first appear, :D

Submitted(+1)

I am super impressed that you got some automation and linked building put together in a 3D environment in such a short period of time! I think this could develop into a very fun automation sandbox game with some more automation options and more defined goals for the player.

Developer

Thanks, it wasn't easy, i'm still fairly new to 3D so this was mostly just trial and error. Still im happy i learned alot and am looking forward to making something truly awesome with what i learned taking a crack at this, :D

The axe and pickaxe at the beginning seem to disappear when I pick them up? What's the inventory button? you haven't mentioned it below

Developer (1 edit)

Tab for inventory, look at the actual game page for a full demo play video, controls, cheats and more, :3

Cool! Brave to do 3D and it feels similar to Factorio! Well done!

Developer

Thanks, glad you liked it even if it's nothing more than a concept build, :D

Submitted(+1)

I didn’t know how to play it until I read manual on the page. But when I was playing it afterwards, it was pretty cool. Even there is not much to do at the moment, I see a potencial in it. I hope I’ll return some day and there will be much more stuff to do. Well done!

Developer

Thanks for playing my prototype, it was an interesting learning experience for sure, even though i didn't get to add in a fraction of what i wanted to add due to rl issues and time constraints.

Either way glad you liked it! I played yours too, was hard but fun as heck and a brilliant use of the expire theme! :D

Submitted(+1)

For what little the game had, it was surprisingly enough for me to play the whole 30 minutes. Mainly I tried playing with the trees and conveyor belts (it didn't go so well fun wise ;D), but you do have a the start of something that could be developed into a full game. After reading the details, I understand that the time to make the game expired for your game about expiration ;P

I would certainly LOVE to see how you could build upon this. And for it being a 3D game is impressive since I mainly do 2D and have messed with pseudo 3D a bit. It was certainly a fun sandbox to play around in, great job!

Thanks! yea, my first time making a resource management/crafting game, it looks like poo but the fundamentals are there. Pry gonna end up cannibalizing it into a different project that i'll be able to flesh out better, maybe make a kinky spin on it since im primarily a NSFW game dev.

I may not have been able to get even a fraction of what i wanted done but i got to learn a lot, so that's good, and i'm glad to see peeps seem to like it for what it is.

Thanks for taking a look at it bud, i like your submission to, it's simple aesthetics wise but fairly in-depth and complex once you really get into it, nicely done, :D!

Submitted(+1)

I'd like to play your game and build some stuff but I'm a bit confused as to how to do basic things. Can you help me?

Developer(+1)

Sure, I did a small vid on how to do some basic stuff, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_dX_7EgKzg

But yea, it's kinda complicated since i didn't get enough time to flesh out the ui or add a tutorial or anything. Basically just mine sticks from dead trees with an axe, mine iron ore with a pick axe, both provided at start to pick up and get to crafting. Anything in pertucilar you wanna know?

Honestly the gathering is a tad annoying, just hit the "~" key and type in "loaded" to get 50 of each item and have fun placing stuffs, :3

Submitted(+1)

I completely understand what the reality of gamedev and time restriction can be sometimes. Thanks for the answer I will try it again tomorrow :)

Developer(+1)

No worries, yours look super cool, imma go check it out, good night bud, :3

Submitted(+1)

thanks! Let me know what you think of it

Developer

Will do, night bud, :3
