Yeah, sorry for that! The difficulty increase indeed, but there is some bug that he doesn't add the bytes it sat to add, and you have to play a lot to pass the next difficulty. Anyway, I got stuck on this bug and couldn't fix at time, but it has more difficulty levels. I noticed also that you could easily leave a virus on the computer and won't change anything, except for the trojan he can shake your camera every 1 s for 3s, but the others was intended to have some skill too. Thanks for your feedback!
Thanks for playing!
I'm sorry for your gameplay had to be so frustrating... We didn't had much time to develop cause of studying and work.
This build style was only a prototype to make the game a little playable, but the original idea was to just click on the border and build it.
We're working on and we adjusted the virus to have a cure rate, also calculated a more reasonable values for lethality and spreading. As computational engineering students, we want to make it more realistic and playable as possible.
Indeed, we couldn't make the effective "control" to control it, but we are still working on project (maybe make it 3D to better visualization also with different styles of civilization, like city or village), more actions for the player, to have a better control of the situation.
If you enjoyed the game, please feel free to follow us. As soon we have an update we will upload it! We will be very happy to have your feedback.
Thanks once again
I loved this game, I'm an engineer student, so it got my attention hehe
But I think you could explore the theme further, like half an hour and then everything you made disappear, is quite boring, maybe when the world expires in the next one, depending on your progress, you unlock more items and resources, that would be more interesting.
Anyway, good work! I like it
In fact, it doesn’t have many inputs, but maybe what I’ve missed is showing up on the screen.
In this case, on the first screen of the game, you could put the inputs to move on the floor, and the first time you appear to interact, "space" appears and so on. I wanted to implement something like that on my game, but didn't have time to and this is what I intended for visual explanation, literally appears on screen.
On the HUD, If it were with the mouse it would be more intuitive to interact with, cause I tested it with the mouse first, then I went to the arrows and in the end I tried WASD hehe
As you said the 1-8 of the inventory can be removed since it is even difficult to know where each slot is because it is a circle, leaving only in rotation with "QE" one more interesting challenge.
I loved this inventory system! The game makes you run across the map for resources and you still need to escape from the aliens! it's quite fun, but I thought you put a lot of inputs and I was a little confused, especially at the beginning. And when I open the credits the game closes: c
Anyway, for a game made for a jam it's pretty cool. One feedback I can give you is to try to reduce the number of inputs and make a more visual explanation of the game.
Good job!
