Nice game! nice gameplay with a story on top!
+1 for the dog ;-)

how can something be so fun and so sad at the same time ??? i love it

I destroyed the world to save the doggo. A soul for a soul.

Very good game, nice job! :D

Well, I played it only for the plot as the gameplay was not that fun... Could be better with smaller levels that took use of the mechanic without unfair death pits! But I really liked the graphics and the story, good work :)

Wholesome. :)

I love what you did with the art and music considering the limitations, the tunes especially are stuck in my head even after playing.

While the platforming wasn't quite the best part of it and there were a few moments where I felt like I could get lost (though somehow I didn't, after all), your game is very well put together. Great job!

Very good game, had a lot of fun overall. The way dialogues are displayed was very cool. At the end i chosed to reap the dog , goodbye doggo :’(

Really cute game! Using souls as platforms is an interesting mechanic. The movement felt a bit clunky at times, but the platforming was generally good. Good work!

nice and simple gameplay.  I liked the cyclical ending. from the beginning you know the end.

I really liked the story. And all the different music tracks were really catchy, considering they had to be monophonic.

Developer

Tried my best to make them catchy and not too repetitive, the monophonic restriction sure was an experience :P
Glad you liked it :]

Wow, that was an awesome experience! You even had time to add those cute character sprites and conversations. You have my respect for this game!

Very cute game! I loved the visuals, the charm of the characters and how each one has his own portrait. Very well use of theme, both in story and gameplay. Very solid overall.

Developer

Thank you :)

This game is great! The art is amazing and it seems like there was a lot of effort put into the audio part. My only problem with it is that levels can feel a little confusing, but overall, it's really good!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback. I guess I can see now how the levels might be a little confusing, I'll look into updating it once the rating is over :)

The idea is good. The music is great, so is the art, and the game has a higher production value than most. But it was really buggy. Way too buggy, like I couldn't finish the game, because I got stuck in the air.

Developer(+1)

Hey, thanks for playing! Thank you so much for the nice feedback. Regarding the buggyness, I'd love to hear details about how you got stuck in the air so I can fix that bug after the ratings :)

Sorry I forgot to take a screenshot, but it was on the rooftop level and I kinda got stuck inbetween two soul platforms, but it didn't look like I was touching any of them, because one was above me and one was below me.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for describing it, I guess I know how that issue can be reproduced so I can fix it after the ranking :)

One of the more ambitious games this jam. The platforming is okay, but the varied levels, great art, and well written characters sold it for me. Kudos.

Developer

Thank you very much for playing through our game and for your feedback! I'm very glad you enjoyed it
