Very good management game! Love how did you overcome visual restrictions.
My 2 cents, though:
- the character itself seems redundant. The cursor is enough. You could just draw an avatar somewhere instead
- The "shop" is not very intuitive. At first I couldn’t understand what these messages on the top of the screen even mean
Thanks for the feedback! Also sorry for the late reply...
Anyways, the critisism is very appriciated and I'm glad you liked the game!
I also had no idea what I had to do until I accidentally collected the bodies which until that point I thought were a sort of indicator / UI element.
After that and fiddling with some grave building the game really gripped me. If the maintainance cost per day didn't constantly increase and leave me without resources I would've been here digging for real days. =) Instead, I only lasted about 8 in-game.
Thanks for playing and for the feedback! I think my idea has some potential, but I couldn't quite work around the limitations like I wanted to, but nontheless I'm really happy you enjoyed the game.
It took a while figure out how to play but finally I managed to survive for 4 days (almost 5 :p).
In these management games it is difficult to balance the economy but here kind of works, when you know the mechanics you can start to think a strategy to survive.
Thanks for the feedback! I tried to explain the game as best as I could in the page as I see how it can be kinda confusing, but I'll see how to improve in the future.
it was a little confusing at first not gonna lie but turned out fun in the end
would love some sound effects though
Thanks a lot for the comment! I knew that the game was gonna be rather confusing, mainly because I found it quite hard to design around the limitation of the jam. Unfortunately I didn't have time to add sound or a lot of polish, but as I do with most of my jam games, I'll probably make a remastered version, where I'll try to fix a lot of the problems.
