Awesome game maybell! I played it for quite a while. The first time I only made it to level 5, but on the second try I stopped when I got to level 12. The gameplay is great, I really like how the game requires you to change up your strategy depending on the amount of green stuff you have. The bounce effect, skating lines, blood effects and camera acceleration & deceleration are also nice touches of polish.

That being said, the gameplay doesn't change that much from level to level; you just have to kill more enemies. The pausemenu doesn't actually pause the game, which means you loose a life each time you want to pause the game. There is also a bug with the UI, eventually you have so many green bars that they start to overlap the "enemies remaining" amount. Lastly, the mouse cursor is locked within the game window (when not in fullscreen), but I guess that's to prevent clicking on a different window which would result in the game window getting obscured.

hi! thanks so much for giving it such a thorough look. your words are very kind. you may rest knowing you are a True God Gamer, as right now the thing just sort of "ends" at level 10.

i agree with your point about the level to level variety being basically nothing. :) alas, much was cut to make the deadline. i am right now exploring ideas to take this thing a little further with more variety in the content. if you have ideas for baddies or hazards you think would be fun, holler. ;D

the pause menu was another thing i was hoping to add as well. you are 100% correct on this point. it sucks to die that way. :(

thank you for bringing up the ui point! this was something that completely slipped my mind. perhaps once a certain threshold is met, it will instead switch to a "[graphic] x 15" sort of deal. i will look into a way to fix this. thank you. 

and lastly, the mouse cursor locking inside the windowed, uh, window, was intentional to prevent accidental clicking outside the window. would you like to see the ability to disable this feature? :)

Amazing Roguelike you've made! The gameplay is straight forward and simple yet it has depth. I really like the main mechanic this game used, and to top that up, it even has great visuals and sounds.

My only complaint is that I think you should make comboing the enemies more satisfying. Like special effects, and a combo counter.

Overall, one of the best games I've seen here and it is way more polished that it has any right to be under such a short time.

Had fun playing it, can't wait to see more! :)

Amazing! I love the movement and the visual effects.

In my opinion it lacks a bit of feedback on enemy kills, it would be really fun if you implemented some sort of combo mechanic, so that you have to line up enemies in order to score bonus points or something.

good Job simple and good maybe the number of enemies in each level grows very fast but it’s ok cause the difficulty

i agree, the level difficulty jumps pretty quick. overhauling the level generator to be more pleasant to play (and adding a bunch more stuff to smash!) is one of the top things i wanna do in the future. :)

Visuals are amazing, and polish is through the roof.

This game is very solid and the actions feel very satisfying. 

Only thing I didn't like was that it got boring quickly because there is little variance between the levels.

Wow this is one of the best I've played in the jam thus far. The visuals and polish work with the simplicity of the game so that it's easy to pick up but hard to master. You've got something here. Very well done! :D

Absolutely amazing! The amount of polish you could fit in a game like this during just 72 hours is extremely impressive! This is my favorite game of the jam so far! Well done!!

Its just an idea but maybe you could leave the movement like it is now and move the dash to the mouse instead of the space bar maybe it could improve the experience

Nice game, looks amazing, sounds are ok but I think that faster soundtrack would be perfect for this game. looks amazing and is pretty fun to play. I loved on the beginning "press dash" and good luck guessing
