Took me a few tries to learn not to touch the purple and black texture, great analogy for how bugs can creep into our games and sometimes those bugs may be beautiful butterflies.

The page's background is not really friendly to the eyes haha
It takes some response time and precision to kill the harmful bugs
the game it's great!

I implemented a similar mechanics in my game, you can check it out

I'm really sorry for the page background, colors on my laptop screen appear washed out and i have a lot of problems when trying to balance them. I'll make sure to fix that later. Thank you for pointing that out and thanks for playing my game, I'm going to play yours as well as soon as i can. :D

Nice idea using the cursor as a way to fend off intruders. I think this is the first time I've seen a game use that as a mechanic before.

Neat game with many welcome details eg. bugopedia. Trying to understand what controls to press was interesting at first, but I got it figured out soon enough. Well done, very good submission!

I think this is a pretty cool game. i got a score of 155, but then the game ended? I still had full life, is there a reason for this?

When bugs are at the same spot as the features, the game is a bit frustrating. With a bit of level desing magic, you may improve the game. :)

I agree, there is a hidden feature where when you fall down to 2 hp bugs start to eat features. That's the main reason i left them overlap. Thanks for the feedback, i appreciate it.

Neat idea, solid double entendre, unfortunately yeah a little confusing but also sometimes the bug and feature would come in at the same position so you'd have to kill a feature to kill a bug. The glitch squares is a cool mechanic but it's generally not a good idea to make the game unplayable for a portion of time, I think.

This game was difficult at the beginning! Very very very funny. A simple concept very well implemented. The menu system is very complete and polished. An excellent job from every point of view!

I still do not fully understand the game to be honest. I died no matter what I killed. I killed bugs I died. I killed these purple squares -> I died. It was fun when it worked but I think I did something wrong. :D

I see. The butterfly ones are actually friendly and you lose points when killing them. Killing them early might result in you losing the game. It's probably a big mistake on my side that i didn't made tutorial screen more understandable and went for the style that appealed to my eye. Thank you for giving a shot at my game, I appreciate it.

Now I understand! Oof. I was just in a killing spree. Did not even pay attention to which bug I was killing. Thank you for clearing that up. :)

I tried to speak through their color, red for enemies and light blue + baby pink for friendly bugs that later turn out to be features, that was my thought process and the main idea.
