It's a really good job you've done in 3 days. With Multiplayer too at that (though I wouldn't know, I've got noone to coop with). Just impressive.

Only there are some things that quite honestly annoyed me: there are crystals that don't give you anything for your money/HP, and your money is reset each time you enter a new level (but that I could borderline overlook it by saying it's in the gameplay).
It doesn't change the fact that it's of high production value for a Jam game and I applaud you for it. While I didn't absolutely love it, I do think it could be a real fun game - I am not into rogue-likes and even less in level grinding so that means a lot from me.

EXCELLENT!  Marisa defeating fairies for loot while wandering the forest is a fitting idea, but the Risk of Rain rogue-like gameplays fits really well!  If the devs expand he game in content and polish they should try making a full-game!

Luna's snipe shots are pretty fun to play around. They're a cool-looking dodgeable surprise and a lingering sort of wall.

The game window doesn't quite fit on a 1080p screen with an always visible Windows 10 task bar.

Very addictive fun, especially with the upgrading aspect. Extra points for having completely original music. I would've like it more if there were less levels, or if there were more differences between the levels. (Never did manage to get to Kisume, on account of having to step out midway, with no way of pausing the game.)

I have no idea what Risk of Rain is. Anyway this game is fun as heck and I'll greatly enjoy coming back to it and not sacrificing my life to a giant life-eating crystal and softlocking myself next time (i have learned)

Games like this make me wish Asprey did multiplayer stuff

Great game. I've never played Risk of Rain, but I had a great time playing this and I plan to play more in the future. I only wish it had some kind of hi score feature so that I could more easily assess my performance between runs.

It's incredible that you've managed to implement netplay during a game jam; I could see myself playing this with friends.

Man, was I beaten over and over again, and I liked it... sorta. It's very fun to play, specially for the sake of running away at high speeds due to upgrades, my only complaint about this is the exit, why you have to kill every fairy when you want to leave? I open every chest and kill the big bosses, but still the damn cristal don't let me go just because there's a tiny fairy between the threes, so annoying. But the game is very fun (never reached kisume, but I definetely will), not quite a fan of playing it with mouse since I use multiple monitors and end up clicking outside of the window, but still, quite entertaining, and I love Marisa's expression the whole time, she looks like she's on drugs xD. Music is quite nice, but I think boss fight one lacks quality, not a big complaint if I could end those sooner. Oh, and adding a game over screen would be nice too xD, I gotta try the 2 players mode.

played with pal (aeon), risk of raining very well, got destroyed 24 minutes and like 5 stages in when it got undodgable

difficulty probably woulda been good if we got all the items since we skipped a few, way more item variety than i expected even if most of them are risk of rain, good game thanks for the netplay

Risk of Rain, huh. Really nice to see there a lot of content, from items to shrine of luck and blood, even once I got elite enemy, but feels like they are more rare.

I died because blood shrine took more health than I had, I think RoR doesn't let you do that, but i understand time constraints, there is no even proper death.

I checked back on the code, and I realized that the blood shrine was never marked as non-lethal damage. Whoops...

Wow, this is a great mashup! I'm a big risk of rain fan, so this combines a ton of stuff that I like. Hell, I like it more than touhou diablo treasure hunter g, and I'm pretty sure that game wasn't made with a 3-day time constraint. The one issue I have is that the game has no sound effects, which makes gameplay lack a certain impact, but I can definitely understand why you prioritized what you did. Love the art style, and how everything was handled isometrically.

i showed this to my good ol friend joe we played multiplayer and he said this game looks like dont starve + diep.io so i bashed him on the side of his head with an oversized mallet and he started dancing and i said go white boy go later that day he tried to sell me rope and lamp oil but i knew he was trying to trick me because he already drank all the lamp oil but uh very cool game

Yes, I approve touhou meets any existing rouge-lite.  It checks everything in risk of rain and it is pretty challenging. I also like the smart approach of bullet hell by 3D by making it all tied to the ground. Most of the time I enjoyed it, but I would say the game really lacks feedback when you take damage. it is hard to tell whether you are losing half of your MaxHP  unless you looked at the bottom left. Anyway it is quite impressive what you guys can managed to get done within the jam period, it even has online multiplayer. You guys can literally polish and expand this to make it an actual commercial rouge-lite, and I will definitely buy it.  Great game, me like. context: I am a sucker to rouge-lites


I haven't tried multiplayer though, will do that soon with a friend. 

WOW! Getting Risk of Rain + Link to the Past + Touhou vibes. Cool co-op.
