Wow, usually jam games are cute and little bu not very polished, but yours actually feels like a game I could have found out there on the internet already! I love graphics and ambience music, the gameplay is a bit on the hard side for my personal taste, but I guess somebody more used to action-packed games would feel at home here. I see a lot of room for new features (weapons, new stuff falling down, ...) so you should definitely keep it up as something very complete and satisfactory can come out of this prototype! Well done!
I'm amazed you made so much in so little time.
My thoughts : the beginning is really hard since there's no way to get all the meteorites. then you get do many turrets and guns that you don't have to do anything. It's really fulfilling for a while but there is no "end".
Nitpicks aside, this is a really good game !
This is a fantastic game. Its really addicting and its an interesting take on a tower defense game. The art and music is really well done, though I would have liked some of that ambeint music from the menu in the game. There is a point you reach in the game where you're pretty much invinsible so there's nothing to do, but that is an issue with the amount of content at the moment and not the game itself. Add some levels weapon and defense variation and this is an amazing full release. the projectiles are a bit slow which works from a gameplay point of veiw but it makes the bullets appear really weak. and interesting problem that i'd like to see a creative solution to. Good work!
Wow, fantastic art and great gameplay. The "walking around the world" mechanics are impressive. You got a lot done within the space of a few days! I echo what another commenter said about the movement directions, it's a little confusing when you're under the planet. Maybe when you press left or right, you will walk in whatever direction is left your right from your current position? That may be confusing for an entirely different set of people, though. :) Great job!
I like the art and nice idea! Movement can get a bit confusing, especially upside down. Good game overall!
Over all this was a great game. I know there is always that time crunch. The world and damage mechanics are well done.
However, I wasn't a fan of how the projectiles were done.
Perhaps make them travel a bit faster or apply a blur to simulate speed. They just look too static.
Other than that I thoroughly enjoyed my experience playing your game.
Hi man, thanks for the feedback! We're gonna update the bullets for sure, with an animation for the trail or a blur effect. Bullet's speed is on our list too, we're reading your feedbacks and thinking about how to make everything better, so don't forget to look at the game page for updates after the rating period ends :)
At first I thought to myself - "That's not really a lot of bullets, to be honest". Was I in for a ride lol A really well made game, fun to play, quite addicting, I love it! I just wish there was more content, like more enemies, different turrents/ guns and upgrades. Also, I'd prefer if for destroying asteroids you got money and could spend that money on upgrades you want in a shop rather than getting random ones from the sky. But that's just my opinion.

Alright, thats definitely a lot of bullets on the screen once some time passes, the game suffers from, as many others have pointed out, a bad difficulty curve. It gets ridiculously easy by the end and the player is just left bored. Till that point tho, game is pretty solid! Well done!
Thanks for the compliments, Lubaka! Difficulty curve is for sure the first thing to fix after this jam to make the game enjoyable. Don't esitate to give ideas to make it more balanced or difficult in the late-game! I'll be happy to know what you guys would do to make it better :)

Great game overall, both from the techincal side and for the design. By far one of the best entries of the jam.
One really minor complain could be to have a lower cap on the number of allowed turrets (maybe in relation to the planet health): I managed to get to a state in which I didn't need to do anything, the turrets were destroying the asteroids before I could even see them, ahahah.
Sanjuro, thanks a lot for the feedback! The turrets cap/planet's health relation could really work, I'll test it for sure to see if it improves the gameplay! By now the cap should be around 25 if I recall correctly. Maybe I should just delete the last upgrade for the turrets, 5 bullets for each turrets may be too much ahahah

Fun game running around the planet is a bit clunky, but cool concept. I liked how you had less space the more your planet was hit. If I would change something it would probably be the shooting. The bullet speed is a bit low so I just spamed bullets to hit something. Maybe add some visual indicator were you aiming at like a laser that could also help. But overall cool game ^^
Hi Qu0d0! Thanks for the precious feedback! The bullets gets faster when you pick up the yellow Bullet-Speed boxes. It's still one of the things I didn't know how to calibrate. I'll try making it even faster then!
Visual indicator for the aiming is a really good idea, I'll implement it for sure just after the period of rating finishes!

Camera shake is activated only when asteroids collide with the planet, putting a shake on every asteroid destroyed may be too much, but I'll be sure to make explosions bigger, that's a great idea actually, thanks a lot :)

That's a great game! The beginning is really hard while the in the end you become invincible. The artwork is also really great :)
