I couldnt figure out how to activate the exit but I did crush some chickens. Pretty fun little game!
Great puzzle game. Good that you caught so many details at the resolution.
Interesting take on the genre, I think the game became noticably more difficult at level 5, mainly due to the randomness of where the gold blocks are placed.
There was a strange visual glitch where the tops of blocks and the player where chopped off but everything else was easy to follow and enough challenge to play till the end.
Amazing game :)
Good job friend.
Super fun game and I loved the opening animation, it was a nice extra touch.
I have crushed many chickens... and it was good. Great job!
Really fun game. An impressive amount of work must have gone into getting it all so polished, lots of animations and transitions etc. I loved the character designs :)
It's impressive how much you packed into 64x64. I think a full release would allow you to ramp up the difficulty a bit more gradually, but aside from that, I loved it.
Well done!
This was very good! Very fun game and I think every aspect of this works seemlessly. The sound, art, gameplay, everything leaves nothing to be desired! I could imagine playing something like this on my phone for hours! lol I second everyone else's opinion! 5 stars!
Thanks for playing! The game is mobile browser friendly (tested), so I did not upload the android build.
Really cool. I was worried that it wouldn't make sense with how small the details are, but you made EXCELLENT use of animations and visual cues to convey everything. The game is fairly complex, but you just did a superb job of explaining the mechanics with visuals. Really, really solid.
Thanks! That’s exactly what I was worried about the most. So I forced my son play it without explaining anything to him. He got stuck on the 4th level (where is the key?), then on the 6th (where is the exit?), but eventually solved out. So I hope everything worked out.
Super creative puzzle you got there! It's incredibly polished and fun to play, I spent way more that than I thought I would on this one. It reminds me of a long gone PC game called Penguin Puzzle with extra mechanics - out of curiosity, was it an inspiration by any means?
One of my faves so far!
Thank you very much for the feedback! I’ve never heard of a Penguin Puzzle. Initially this game was influenced by Pengo (Sega arcade), although after introducing match-3 mechanics and TBS system, there is little left of it.
Very clever and fresh design, and super cool simple yet nice looking and perfectly readable art, good job !
This is surprisingly addictive. I played about an hour already.
It is brilliant to combine this classical match-3 principle with a chicken invasion. It requires quite some thought to manage the chickens and get forward at the same time.
The effects you can obtain make lots of sense and are great and useful. After some time, one can remember them easily. Teleporting anywhere is fun and works exceptionally well.
I have one question: Is there a solution to the “Blind Luck” map? I got a key but didn’t find a “door”.
Thank you for your time spent and kind words! At “Blind Luck” a door is placed randomly under one of the four golden boxes (you can even sneak a peek at “exit_id” in the browser console ;)
Okay, I will try it again.
Definitely 5 stars. Very polished, new gameplay of Match-3 tactics, and the game design is so great. Looking forward to more levels and more items. It's potential and has so many possibilities.
I do like your entry! A nice puzzle game where you really have to think about your moves and the work you put in shows.
Very clever puzzles and works great.
Such a great spin on a puzzle game. I enjoyed it more than I expected. Very polished entry all round. Congrats! (Nice to see you used Godot as well)
Thank you! The first review is always the most valuable.
