Cool idea!

Pretty interesting idea! Like others in the comments, I find it to be intriguing. And I found some of the generated poems to be very amusing

Interesting concept for a game. I definitely haven't played anything like this before. Kudos to thinking outside the box. Great job!

Beautiful generation of poems. There came out really funny (and amazingly good) stuff. I'm also glad that you can play it on mobile devices. That's been too rare so far. Does the king have any particular preferences then? I didn't get behind the patterns :(

The answer is that right now he is just a mad king...so no preferences. But then poetry can be subjective. My plan is to continue working on the game and give him things that he values together. So grouping words into longer vs shorter words, or like subjectively harder vs softer or warmer vs cooler words and giving him a day by day preference based on that. Ultimately I think it will still come off as...random, but the goal is to have a hidden rule with it.

Good job friend.

Interesting idea for a game! It was pretty clear how to play the game, but it was a bit confusing to figure out how the poems were being scored.

This is quite a nice idea for a game. I had some fun with the weird poems I generated.

I really like this! The music was very fitting and I thoroughly enjoyed how relaxing and soothing it was. This is a really cool game that I would like to see expanded. Don't think I've heard of such an idea yet so it was refreshing.

Thanks. It is very much something I plan on continuing to work on when the Jam ends.

I'd like to report a bug. My beautiful poem,

evening
  dog

flying
  slowly

carefully

Didn't earn any points, but I didn't see an option to depose the king for his frankly criminal lack of judgment.

I can't stop laughing at your blatant disdain for the taste of a king

Very interesting concept for a game. The music is nice and fitting for the title. I also think it's clever, using the edges of the screen as an indictor for how much time's left in the day. Though, my one critique is that I do wish there was some sort of bonus if you submit an actually coherent poem. Not necessarily a pretty or beautiful one, but just one that has a clear and understandable flow. That being said, I do still really enjoy this project. Well done!

Yes, I get where you are coming from. Honestly, I did want to do more with evaluating the poems, but did not have the time to get that done. I hope to continue to work on this after the Jam voting is over.

Yeah no worries! Please  do continue with the game, I'm looking forward to later versions of it :)

Great concept! It had me playing several times through.

Probably I'm a bit dumb to play correctly but I like the generation of poems

The plus with this game is there really is no right and wrong with the poems, but the Mad King has his own opinions. Thanks for playing.

Very simple, but I love the concept!!

It was fun seeing the different combinations I could make!
