Wow, this is really well implemented!
I didn't expect there would be a typing game xD, but great job! I really enjoyed playing it.

Had a lot of fun playing this.

Great execution and very addicting gameplay loop.

Would love to see this expanded upon.

Good to see another typing game in the Jam. Yours is brilliant, I like it very much. I would like to implement the level generation too, but I was out of the time. Good job.

Developer

Thanks for feedback

Nicely done! Really cool concept and a fun take on dungeon exploration. I really liked the time bar representing the enemies next attacks so you know what's coming. A small thing I would say is that it would be nice to get an option to go to the next level when you reach the exit rather than taking you automatically. I had a level spawn where the one direction lead straight into the exit without allowing me to explore the room beyond it which was full of cool collectibles. It takes a little away from your ability to explore, so it would be nice to have that be an option instead.

thanks for your comment & feedback

You completly right, exiting the dungeon should’t be direct ;) I miss some time to implement this as a nice and polish dungeon transition Maybe for a post jam version :)

Honestly this is my favorite entry yet!
firstly excellent choice of asset, the dungeon Idea fits the assets perfectly thus your game a homogeneous look, visually nice too, I like the choice of colors to establish a strong vibe,
the gameplay is simply brilliant, very smart Idea, truly to integrate the typing mechanic, a very fun concept thus in execution the game is fun too!
overall a solid entry, and a memorable one too thanks to the unique gameplay, great work!

Developer

Many thanks for your feedback. It means a lot to me. I’m glad you liked it!

I like the concept of type, it is really funny snd dificult in the same time (why there is no ñ? :c)

But, i think that is something confusing fight with the enemies in the start

Awesome game! Reminds me of game I used to play called the Typing of the Dead. I did encounter a few bugs though. One enemy type does not clear out after it dies, covering the letter it was on. I had to guess my way past him. Also, I believe I had a level that did not have an exit. I must have lapped around 3 or 4 times before giving up. I had a lot of fun playing it otherwise.

This was a whole lot of fun! I liked going around and I liked how you had to type actual words to fight the enemies (and not just mash a string of random letters), since it made the exploration and fighting portions of the game feel different.

I guess if you were to keep working on the game after the jam, a minor improvement I would suggest is that I'd make the letters not get obscured by structures so that they're easier to see (see image).

But overall, this was a really good experience to play.

Thank you

I really loved it. Everything was great until I spawns right next to a guy and when he died he did not disappear so I could not see the letter. Other than that I had a great time. Really cool entry. Kudos

Developer

yeah, i spot this problem some times

Miss time to prevent this situation in generation ;)

Thanks for your feedback

Really cool concept and battle system !  The word/min counter is a nice addition :)I like the scrabble themed ground. The random level generation is a great addition to the game, however I encountered a generation where I could not finish the level ! Nice job, cheers.

Developer

A big thanks

Oh my this game is REALLY cool. Love the concept and the visual. Mobs could have some more "fighting words".

I think this could work for someone to train typing or even learning. Nice stuff!

Developer

REALLY thank you !

you right about fighting words ! Need more ;)

This is actually really good! I love the typing mechanics to move and fight, wanting to move faster really encouraged me to type and take notice of things more. I got down to floor 3 or 4 before I hit escape and was sent back to the start. Really could use an "are you sure" prompt.

Super good game considering the jam's time limit! IMO you should change the image for your game to something more representative of the gameplay though. It's hurting your discoverability having what looks to be an AI generated image on the front.

Thanks for your comment yeah I miss some time to polish the menu, and the cover image ( made in litterally 45 sec) :)

PS : I change the cover pic with a capture from the game ;) Agreed with you
