Why is it SO HARD :( I wanne hear the song.

Yes I am still playing this game.

Man this is a cool take on the game and mapping! I was to dumb/impacient to finnish a run, enjoyed the basic mechanics a lot though. Not having any musik was kind of sad for me, made it harder to stick to the game.

Impressive work! Some janky behaviour in the belts and items, but plays pretty well. Using the number keys to controll what "thing" I am using would have been great (1 = belt, 2 = splitter etc)

We wanted to make a TD and so we did, while adhering to the theme of the jam. Was it the same for you?

Hey thank you very much! Great feedback, some more imput options would have been great, I agree.

And yeah, I also often though "what nice art" until I remembered the source of it. The artists in our team still did great work, taking their first steps in development <3

We did the theme of this jam AND the one before! Look at us go :D

Thanks for the kind words.

Thanks! I'm also glad I put particles in, almost last minute.

This is really, really good! Impressive work and a nice game to play. A bit much text to read, but for playing its super fluid and fun.

Noticed the coins sometimes have a hard time "entering" my inventory. The tend to fly around the character in orbits. :D

Beautiful game! The gameplay is very smooth - not much to do though.

Oh my this game is REALLY cool. Love the concept and the visual. Mobs could have some more "fighting words".

I think this could work for someone to train typing or even learning. Nice stuff!

What a weird little game. Though I did not have the patience to get past Tuesday. Fell down to many times and respawning took a little to long 😅

Cute idea! The terrain is really crazy, still I never got badly stuck or fell out of the world 😇

Really cool idea and well executed.

Great exploration! Felt a bit hard to use the map though, I guess I'm to used to a "you are here" pointer.

Impressive work! Doom-esc game, felt pretty tough too!

The tileset made it hard to orient sometimes, looks nice though!

Cool game! What a fun idea to play with two different characters. The level is pretty big and nice to explore.

The hitboxes felt a bit unforgiving - having checkpoints helps a ton,

Well done, really cool visuals.

I had some issues understanding where I was going, as the arrow always points to the destination and I can't see my own speed vector. Having to race left little time to check out all the cool planets.

Ah darn. Having the final upload being broken isn't nice.

You built an entire world? Alright :D

The movement felt a bit weird and I could not figure out what to do really. Like the look of the map and the scale of the game though.

This was a mechanic in an earlier jam as well. Seems like a thing that attracts the player. Good to know.

...attrackts players, light bugs to the light???

Thanks for the feedback! Every remaining unit counts as one point towards your remaining money. That is multiplied by the time it took.

It was implemented rather late, so there might be some flaws. 1,4k is a reeeally good score though :D well done!

What a fun project this one was ☺

If you got this far, go give this game a shot. It's worth it, trust me 🥴

This is stupid. And super cute!

Soo cute! Keep it up

Oh my god it is so cute! The player character certainly feels clunky and falling into holes without a way to recover is sometimes frustrating. Still it's pretty enjoyable to just play, escpecially once you realize you can throw super cool bouncing pinecombs (or something) so you never have to even slow down.

A bunch of people seem to like it. Thanks for the feedback, I did not realize that feature would be so enjoyable to many.

Danke, falls unsere Artists das nicht selber lesen, leite ich ihnen das Lob auf jeden Fall weiter!

The monitor issue was propably related to my setup. I later remembered that that one is my "primary" monitor, so of course it defaulted to that. Usually I start games in windowed mode to prevent those issues, but I guess this time it is on me :D

I had issues with that on other unity games as well. Might be my setup, but surely worth investigating for the future. Cheers ☺

It is really hard - or I am really bad - or both. I will give it a bunch more tries another day.

I love this! Music and visuals are stellar, the gamplay is amazing and though I never got far, the "jerk" is really cute and fun to watch. What a little masterpiece.

Oh man this game is great! The visuals are amazing, how the streaks behind the creatues darken the horizion. Have the cards to customize adds replay value and being able to activate them by number keys makes it a real joy to play. Great job!

Amazing work! The gameplay is great, sound and story writing as well. I loved how my shots had physics and bounced around corners. Really amazing work.

I had no game asserts of sound, but a well working platforming experience. A killbox in the endless pit would have been nice for the many times I fell :D

(1 edit)

Impressive work, Unreal really shines here. Missing sound and a game over? Had some fun running around shooting stuff and exploding. Nice!

My god, you built a whole world in there! Cool style, nice music. I did not get to far, unity does not like my setup (mouse is crazy sensitive and it always uses my upright monitor). Still ran great and was enjoyable to play.

It insisted on opening on my upright monitor... still worked and looked fine though! Cool visuals, funny little background tune. I had issues shooting, but otherwise no complaints.
