Thank you so much for playing!

Some abilities definitely make the final levels easier if held onto.

Fabulous sound pack.  Bought the complete collection a while back and used some of your ambient and stinger sounds in the post-jam update to my game https://nodrogagon.itch.io/dreadhand

Thanks for the great sounds!

Thank you so much!

More insanity is definitely needed :)

Some simple wiggling can add a lot when there are time constraints :)

Thank you so much for playing!

Thank you for the feedback!

I'll have a look at what improvements I can make to controls for future updates :)

The hooting owl sounds set a nice spooky tone right from the get go.

Fun challenge, although noticed a few glitches such as falling through the world when attempting to jump while standing on the logs.

Would love to see further improvements and polish.  Great job :)

Very cool concept :)

Felt maybe a bit too easy going through as the warrior as I could standard attack my way through most of it, but still loved getting to see all of your cool sprite designs and enjoy the experience.

Great job!

Thank you so much for the kind words! Really glad you enjoyed it.

No sound effects at this time sadly, only background music.  I will have sound effects added for my post-jam update :)

Thank you for playing!

Glad you liked it :)

No one escapes the DreadHand!

Sadly no way to avoid surrendering at this time.  I did have thoughts on that during development and currently looking into alternative endings for the post-jam update.

Glad to hear you enjoyed it so much.

It's difficult enough to get to that point :)

Thank you very much for playing and glad to hear you enjoyed it!

Thank you! Really appreciate the kind words.

Sound effects will definitely be added in a future update :)

Thank you for playing!

Really glad to hear you enjoyed it :)

The boss designs here are really great for how unique each of them are.

Fab music throughout too and great ending.

Those pesky Space Wreckoons!

Really nice art and game concept.

Enjoyed the balance created by linking your ammo to your hit points.  Very cool game.

I really liked this.

Atmosphere is very strong for how minimal the assets and use of sound are.

Great work!

I had actually considered having the option to refuse surrendering at the end with the idea of tying it a boss fight to wrap things up.

Will see if I get a burst of motivation to revisit that idea for the post-jam update :)

Thank you for your comments and glad you enjoyed!

Thank you so much!

Glad you enjoyed it :)

Glad you enjoyed it :)

I hadn't actually considered keyboard controls for the shooting.  I'll have to look into that and see how it feels.

Thank you for the feedback!

Thanks for playing :)

Definitely looking at getting sound effects added once the voting period is over.

Thank you for playing!

Happy to hear the positive comments about the balance.  There was some very last minute tweaking and finger crossing before the deadline. :)

Love the visuals here, both in game and in the cover art.

Shooting feels very satisfying and the ramp up in the music during combat fits perfectly.

Really fun experience playing through this.

Love the sketchy artstyle and music!

The joy I felt when I got the sequence right was heightened by personality and charm in the animations :)

Love the atmosphere and visuals!

The mechanics for gathering wood and reinforcing doors is pretty cool, although I still ended up mostly running to and from my ammo supply and outdoors again until the enemies spawned.

Very impressed with how polished this is for the amount content you fit in.

Love the whole aesthetic.  The music and sound effects are especially fabulous.

Really liked the concept and approach to the theme.

Felt like a risk each time deciding which power to sacrifice, but was still able to complete all levels without issue.  Really liked the level designs.

I did run into the bug at the start where I teleported into the wall, but glad I stuck it out and got through to the end. :)

Buying 166 forks really was a poor financial decision.

Enjoyed the bits of humour in the writing and pretty cool to have so many different endings.

Really liked having the player character visibly decay as you take damage.

Cute animations and very satisfying impact on the shooting.

Love the sprites and animation.

Nice simple mechanics and very polished.

Really enjoyed playing :)

Really nice sprite work and colour palette.

Found the jumping a bit tricky in some spots.  Even welding holding the space bar down I wasn't seeing much difference in my jump height.

Having to move the boxes through the different obstacles was quite fun although the physics did play up a bit at times making them move in odd ways.

Fun game and would love to play again with improvements :)

Very atmospheric.

The laughing sound of the skulls is very creepy in the best way.

My longest survival time was only 0:33:42 as the heretic always gets me.

Really nice submission.

The aesthetic of this game is super intriguing.

Would love return to it if you release an update that fixes the known issues :)

Love how the low visibility adds to the sense of danger throughout.

The ending screen visuals are perfect.

Really nice sprite work.

Would have liked to see the difficulty ramp up just a little bit quicker, but it's probably just perfect for the game jam.

I had fun playing :)

Love your take on the theme.

Really clever and unique puzzle game.

Ending music is also wonderful.

Love your characters design.

The claymation gives it such a unique style, especially in combination with the 1 bit colour palette.

Difficulty could feel pretty unforgiving at times but still very achievable.

The camera movement could feel a bit jarring at times when switching movement direction, so would be nice to see that tweaked slightly.

Would love to see this world expanded upon, or at least something in the same style.

The visuals and sound are fantastic.

Really love how rhythmic it feels.

I struggled quite a bit with knowing when best to use the boost mechanic, but enjoyed the experience all the same.

This was a lot of fun and has so much potential to be expanded upon.

Get's very tricky when they start using a lot of teleporting and AOE attacks, but the overall mechanics are really well thought out.

Helps that the overall presentation is so impressive too.

Fantastic work.

Super fun concept.

I did find the buttons a bit unresponsive at times which made the platforming difficult, but really liked the puzzle aspect.

Always cool to see a mobile entry :)

Really enjoyed playing this.  Felt super polished across the board.

Especially love the sprite work both in game and in cutscenes.

Adorable game.
