The boss designs here are really great for how unique each of them are.
Fab music throughout too and great ending.
Awesome boss gauntlet. All were very good and creative. Still not sure if I liked more the frog or the boulders, when it's hard to rank for me it's good stuff. The gameplay it self could improve or better the collision work and floatiness but it still good enough that the battles shine with their really cool ideas! Loved the artwork and the music, great atmosphere!
The button layout is a little spread out but the grappling hook alone makes up for it. Is this inspired by Bionic Commando? The handdrawn background art with subtle animation and bold enemies are absolutely fantastic—so much personality. The main character could benefit from either more fluid animation or a redesign, though it has its own charm. The music and SFX are great. The quick pacing and enemy attacks feel good. This is unquestionably a work of art.
A fun trio of bosses here, though I found the first one by far the most difficult (then again, maybe that was just because I was still getting the hang of grappling). That said, I actually really enjoyed the grapple once I was able to use it properly. I also loved the music for the second fight, and the end dilemma was unexpected and clever!
I liked the ending. My favorite boss was the boulders. I found there design very humorous.
I found that it was easy to find ways to cheese the bosses and I never really used the grapple hook. I think it would have been better if you clicked to shoot the grapple hook because it is based on the mouse position. The shot isn't so I think it should be the E button.
Hey, thank you for playing our game! The boulders were a very fun design to make and glad you enjoyed them :). That's quite a good suggestion for the grapple hook to make it more natural to use. There originally was another ability on right mouse that got cut for time, never occured to me to move the hook keybind after.
