This is really great! Love a good space exploration/economy game and this one hits all the important highlights. My biggest feedback is that WASD would have been a lot better than arrow keys for me so it would have been nice to have both work. I also prefer more iso-controls where W goes up on the screen, s down, etc rather than having to track which direction my ship is facing but that's a pretty minor thing. If you want to continue and expand on the concept in the future, adding some sort of cooking mini-game to eating the animals would be a great addition. Really awesome concept and would love to see you take it further!
A very, very interesting game. The idea is really nice and it was well implented. 5 stars!
Thank you! 💖
This was really fun! Great concept and had me hooked after I understood the premise. The music was perfect.
Thanks! And I'm glad you liked the music; I made it myself (which was a pretty intense experience, given the time limit of the jam)!
Love the creativity here.
Hungry for some Badger-Bat now.
Badger-Bat sounds delicious!
Thanks for playing!
Very creative game! I found it difficult to balance between eating and selling the creatures. There were a couple times I frantically bought everything so I could have a meal or two before I starved.
That's the energy I was going for! The kind of energy where you have to rush and feel a bit of time pressure!
Thanks for playing, and I'm glad you had fun.
Great game, with a creative concept, good job!
Thank you! :)
Great game! Fun to play, and i love the mechanics, could play for a long time!
Thanks!
I really loved the concept of being a space trader! It took me a bit of time to understand what exactly I should be doing, but I got it after dying. The game had a really neat presentation too, I liked the menus. I would have liked an end goal (like having to eat an X amount of creatures to win), because right now while it's very cool it feels like aimlessly driving from planet to planet while losing cash.
Ooh, the idea of an end goal seems good. Maybe a story mode would be something nice to add post-jam...
Thanks for playing!
