After I got the hang of it, I liked how the orb control worked. It was funny to hear the bats pop when the orb hits them. Congrats for making a game for the jam!

A fun game - I liked the telekinetic orb effect - a nice solution to the movement mechanic.

Hi Fire Wizard VR Dev here.

It's very interesting how similar principal mechanic can feel so different in a different context. I like the way you approach the mechanic, the "telekinetic movement", it's a clever solution to use a point of reference in the world, maybe tweaking it a little could feel better.

Nonetheless good job!
I liked the audio and the art was good, it felt empty and with too much light for me.

Hi there! I played your game on my second stream, here is the playthrough (timestamped): https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2386307073?t=01h21m22s

Took me a while to notice the line that spawns when you press trigger and to understand how to properly use the magic orb. But once I got it that’s a really fun mechanic! Similar to that other entry “Fire Wizard VR”.

You guys are gonna motivate me to actually make that VR Medieval Flail game and get my other projects sidetracked yet again, aren’t you??

Anyway good job and thanks for making the game!

Oh and sorry about the webcam angle, forgot to put it back up after playing Bjergtaget 😭

Interesting mechanic. I played with index controllers so I might not of got the whole experience, but it still works pretty well once you get the hang of it.

I like the environment and the orb design. While playing, I thought the orb was always following my hand's direction. I am not sure this is designed like that.

Super cool concept! It took me a little while to get the hang of controlling the orb, but once I did, it felt really good. I definitely think this mechanic could be the basis of a bigger game. Great job!

I liked the rumble when I cast an orb!

It was fun to move the orb around with my hand, but gameplay wise I just ended up holding the orbs still to let the bats fly into them

Developer

Thanks for playing.

Maybe the orb should also vanish, so you have to cast a new one.

Played with index controllers and pimax crystal light. I didn't have any problems controlling the orb. Really fun game. Loved the sound fx lol

I played on a Quest 3s with two controllers.

The orb mechanics were tough to comprehend at first, until I realized they move in/out with my hand.

The art was fantastic but the backside of the world being a black void broke my immersion, as well as missing my left hand.

The rumble and audio was great, but I wished the bats had an audio queue when spawning.

The game felt a little slow / easy for the most part I was just placing my orb in front of a bat and letting them fly into it.

Great job!

Thanks for playing and your feedback. I also see a lot of things to improve.

:)

I can only agree with this, but still good job. The audio for me was the best
