thank you! I had a great time learning on this jam, and grateful for you and Bastiaan making it happen!

Hands down best soundtrack of the jam!
The laser was at a funny angle which threw me off a bit at times, but well done on making this game - definitely more of a gameplay loop than mine!
Appreciate the elder wand model as well - fits well with the soundtrack. The choice of 3D models/targets were super random and goofy, and made me chuckle.
Fun course! I enjoyed flying through the neighbourhood at ground level, but in the sky I started getting motion sick. Then I read the comments and realised the updated version has vignette so tried that and the motion sickness was much better, but not 100% motion sickness proof, I guess with these types of games you just have to have a strong stomach! I appreciate what you've done to make it easier on us weak stomachs though!
Thanks David! I didn't really do anything fancy in engine, just put all 6 layers of my music as separate tracks on the same AudioStreamSynchronized stream, which was then played by the same AudioStreamPlayer node. There's a method for setting the volume of a specific track in the AudioStreamSynchronized stream.
Ideally I would have liked for each mushroom to have spatially positioned sounds but didn't work out how to do that and I suspect that would require custom scripts which was more than I could manage in the timeframe. Anyway luckily it turned out that the mix of the music was nice just as non-diegetic sound.
As a side note, I tried to follow your tutorial on exporting to WebXR and it was all going well until the final step, which errored out because Godot couldn't open a specific zip file in the export template or something :(
The. writing in the letters and books were great! As is the use of sound effects and polished animations. Really got the sense of a bubbling cauldron here.
One little thing I had trouble with is that when I go to pull things down into the cauldron, sometimes the item will fly back to the shelf instead. Otherwise it was an enjoyable and complete game.
Awesome level design and gameplay loop!
Cool aesthetic with the Egyptian theme and fitting music. A shame that the sound didn't make it to the actual game but I enjoyed having the backing track
Would have liked to see the feature to edit individual blocks rather than having to re-place everything again, but understand that's due to the time constraints
overall 10/10 enjoyment
Neat game mechanics - I really liked the logic puzzle!
I found that if I sold too many armour to the other team too early on (I was not taking notesat first!) then it takes a long time to get their health back down after you've figured out exactly which side everyone is on, then it gets grindy - of course there's reputation management but that gets pretty simple.
I wonder if it would be fun to introduce the option to sell "dud" items - like a laxative instead of potion, an exploding armour, or a bendy sword - and it would reduce instead of buff the stats they're supposed to, but at the cost of drastically reducing your rep (and you can only sell one of each because people will catch on!). Might be fun dialogue and also helps to finish the game quicker if you have worked out the puzzle already
Great game, interesting glitches and level design. Really fun to play and the difficulty level was well adjusted - I could get to the end but not without dying a couple of times due to unexpected glitches.
I'm curious to see what the unimplemented art was, although I like the Unity level vibe as well, feel it suited the game.
